A beautiful chalet, situated at Haute Savoie Morillon, Flaine in the French Alps giving easy access to 3 of Europe's largest ski areas. A large, individual chalet very near the gondola lift into the Flaine Grand massif and positioned to have the choice of other ski resorts. In summertime the activities are endless. We supply 8 adult's and 2 children's mountain bikes free of charge and we are only a short walk away from a sanded swimming lake (lifeguard manned in summer holidays), surrounded by trees and with a new aerial adventure park.

The chalet is a large, typical construction with balconies, laid out on 3 floors.
It has been furnished to the highest standard.
There is a heated boot room and a heated wardrobe for ski wear.
There is also underfloor central heating.
Accessibility
Location location location only 1 hour transfer from Geneva and 200mts from Ski lift.
Outside
Huge flat Lawned Garden, below the large terraced balcony - giving stunning views of the surroundig mountains. Covered heated swimming pool and hot tub for use of both Chalets Short walk to lake with beached area. Arial adventure park suitable for all ages.
Coast/Beach
Local lake with Sandy beach, located at the end of the adjacent field, including the new Aero-Adventure Park.
Golf
For the golfer, Samoems has a good water driving range. For the more experienced golfer, there is a spectacular 18 hole course above Les Carroz, approximately 30 minutes drive away. 3 major golf courses within 40 mins drive.
Skiing
Grand Massif (Flaine) - approximately 200m from the gondola that connects into the main Grand Massif circus ski area.
Portes du Soleil - less than a 30 minute car journey up to Les Gets, accessing Morzine and Avoriaz.
Chamonix Valley - less than a 30 minute car journey into Chamonix Valley giving chance to ski at St Gervais, Les Contamine, Megeve, Chamonix etc.

Further details
The chalet is in the Giffre valley at approximately 800m on the edge of Morillon and 2km away from the old town of Samoens. The area is renowned for white water activities with a number of rafting and canoeing companies nearby. The valley is 23km long, starting above Cluses and running in a gentle incline to Sixt where the road rises steeply to a dead end. It is ideal for relaxing road cycling. The Grand Massif lift system runs several key lifts during the summer months for mountain biking. Bikes for all ages can be borrowed from Chalet Paula.
The whole area is wonderful for walking. Horses and ponies can be hired from the stables at Samoens. Should you wish, there are donkeys to carry smaller children on mountain walks, so age should be no barrier to enjoying the mountains.
Summer here in the Alps provides the opportunity for a huge array of activities such as mountain biking, white water rafting, canoeing, paragliding, golfing, climbing and walking. There is a summer swimming lake in Morillon, a short walking distance from the chalet. It has a man made sandy 'beach' and diving stages. A short drive away, at Plessey, there are numerous lakes that, by mid summer, are quite warm to swim in.
