Within its very large grounds are 2 large carp fishing lakes and large area for walks, cycling etc. The house has been lovingly renovated to an extremely high standard throughout with all bedrooms offering en-suite facilities. Full sized swimming pool which is fenced off for security plus a hot tub/spa and a sauna. There is a lovely decking area (fenced off for security) overlooking one of the lakes - which is a great place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. 2 additional patio areas. The property is private and not overlooked. There are bikes available for customers use. Outside of the main season we can close off 2 of the bedrooms and let this property as a 3 bedroom configuration.

Notes on accommodation
Central heating throughout for year round lets.
Suitable for children as the swimming pool and lakes are fenced off for security but easily accessible if customers wish.
Outside of the main season 2 of the bedrooms can be closed off and the property can then be let as a 3 bedroomed configuration at a lower price. Please contact us for prices.

Both lakes are private to this property and have a large quantity of Carp, Perch, Roach, Tench, eels etc. Many of the fish are very large and not at all easy to catch! A challenge to many a fisherman. The lake next to the property is approx 4000 square metres and 100 metres further on the 2nd lake is approx 15,000 square metres.
Customers also like to swim in the lake next to the house (a bit cold though!)

Fontenay Le Comte is nearest town approx 15 minute drive.
Vouvant is one of France's prettiest villages is 20 minute drive.
Puy de Fou is approx 50 mins drive
Mervent Forest is 15 minute.
