Les Lauriers is a modern detached villa situated a short walking distance from the centre of Belveze du Razes. The area is ideally situated for walkers and cyclists. The village also has its own open air swimming pool open during the main holiday period. It also has a post office, bank, general store, bakery and bar. Accommodation includes 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite); spacious living area opening onto terrace. Well equipped kitchen - dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. Washing machine and tumble dryer available in integral garage. Enclosed parking and garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Non smokers please. A cot with bedlinen is available for an additional £20 per stay.

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Friday. We ask guests to arrive after 4pm and depart by 10am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | All three bedrooms have double beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and WC. Each bedroom has ample wardrobe space. |
| Bathrooms: | The en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom has a full length bath and shower over. WC. and vanity unit/basin. The house bathroom has a full length bath, separate shower cubicle, WC. and basin/vanity unit. Shaver sockets are available in both bathrooms. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is open plan and overlooks the main living area. It has cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. |
| Utility Room: | The integral garage with access from the main villa hallway contains a sink, washing machine and tumble drier. |
| Living Rooms: | The living area provides a generous space for both dining and relaxing. The dining area has a large table with seating for 6. The lounge area has two large 3 seater settees. There is a television with English satellite channels, DVD, video and radio/CD. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and all linen are included. For bookings longer than a week spare linen will be made available. Price includes final clean. Additional cleaning can be arranged at extra cost. |

Notes on accommodation
Although not specifically designed for elderly or disabled visitors. In the past we have had visitors who fall into these categories. Please contact us directly should you have concerns or require specific information.
Whilst the villa has a garden it is not grassed and therefore not really suitable for ball games. However the local park and sports ground is a 5 minute walk.
Accessibility
Although the villa has not specifically been designed for those with mobility problems, being on one floor and with wide door widths it may be suitable. Please contact the owner for more information.
Outside
The garden area around the villa has been gravelled and has shrubs and plants. It is enclosed with fencing and has double gates, with space for one vehicle on the drive. The garden is not suitable for ball games. There is a large raised patio accessible from the living area via two French doors and from the garden area. Outdoor furniture is provided for dining and relaxing. A barbecue is available.
Coast/Beach
The Mediterranean is an easy drive. Narbonne Plage is just over an hour away. Narbonne Plage offers beautiful clean sandy beaches and free car parking. Further down the coast from Narbonne the resorts of Gruissan, Leucate, Canet-Plage, Argeles Plage and Collioure offer both scenery and a variety of activities not to mention numerous restaurants and interesting places to visit.
Travel
The nearest airport is Carcassonne (Salvaza). This is approximately 27 km. away from the villa and less than a 30 minute drive. The use of a car is essential.
Distances
Limoux is 16 km. from the villa and a 20 minute drive. Carcassonne is 29 km. away and about a 30 minute drive. Both Limoux and Carcassone have large supermarkets and a good range of shops and restaurants. The old city of Carcassonne is an essential visit. The historic town of Mirepoix is 24 km. away and a 20 minute drive. Renowned for its architecture and weekly markets.
Further details
Les Lauriers is conveniently situated to large fresh water lakes at MontBel 45mins, le lac de Saint-Ferréol 50 mins, and Lac de la Cavayere, near Carcassonne about 50 mins. All three lakes offer fresh water lakes with beaches and water sports. Montbel being the largest of the lakes.
