Villa on private secluded road with large garden, close to all facilities. South facing with view of the Mont Blanc Massif and Mont Joli to the front and the Aravis chain to the rear. Apart from the comfort of the accommodation, it is the excellent location of Les Marguerites: if you want to leave your car in the drive or not even bring one, then this is the place for you! An easy stroll across the garden, cross the road and you are at the ski lift! Go in the opposite direction, and you will be in the village with its variety of shops and restaurants, banks and the post office. The international ice rink is just across the bridge where there are regular ice hockey matches and galas and daily sessions for the public.
We will be only too pleased to help you with such important details as transfers from the airport, ski hire, ski school and nurseries. We have a list of reliable baby sitters. All these details can and should be taken care of in advance to give you a trouble free holiday.

Notes on accommodation
The whole property has been renovated to a high standard and carries a four star rating. Eminently suitable for families with children. There is now an ornamental fireplace on 2nd floor and a small balcony to 1st floor west. A baby's cot is available for use in any of the apartments.
All three apartments can be rented and our maximum capacity of 18 all eat together in the top floor apartment.
Outside
Adequete parking in front and a large private garden to the rear with a 60m2 terrace and a 6 person Hot Tub (jacuzzi) kept at 40° in the winter. There are barbecues on top terrace & in the garden. Outdoor furniture is available.
Coast/Beach
There is a lakeside beach with facilities for wind surfing 15mins drive away with the Mt Blanc majestic in the background. Beaches and cruises at the lakes of Annecy & Geneva are an excellent possibility for a lovely day out.
Golf
There are three golf courses within 30mins drive in spectacular scenery - two fairly straight forward and the third at Chamonix, challenging with many water hazards. Annecy & Geneva, about 75 mins away, boast courses of international standard. Detailed brochure available.
Skiing
A marvellous skiing area, not only the St Gervais/Megeve complex: 82 lifts, 300kms of piste, but also easy access to Les Contamines & the Chamonix Valley with world famous Vallee Blanche & the demanding runs of Argentiere. Thus the area is suitable for all levels of skier. There is a ski hire shop at the bottom of the garden.
Special interest holidays
Whilst no specific courses are offered at present the owner is an ex-ski instructor from Aspen, Colorado and available for guiding. His wife is a professional artist with her own studio and has had exhibitions this year both locally and at the Mall Galleries, London. Artists welcome!
Travel
Geneva Airport is about 75mins away by car and there is a bus service. In winter a car is not really needed, but is highly recommended at other times. Driving time from Calais is about 9hrs. The TGV from Paris is direct to St Gervais. Visitors may arrange to be picked up from the airport or the railway station.
Distances
Although the chalet is in a private secluded situation the village is on the doorstep. International icerink 100m, tennis, swimming pool, bikes, mini-golf, creche 500m. Rafting, kayaking, paragliding, rock climbing, outings with mountain guides, horse riding all available at hand. The Mt Blanc Tramway takes one to the Eagle's Nest!
Further details
There is a variety of shops in the village, three banks & restaurants for every taste & pocket. Our supermarket is 3mins walk. The old town of Annecy on its beautiful lake is well worth a visit either by motorway or by a fascinating route through the mountains.
