Rates are for the entire property (regardless of party size, upto max 8) and include linen, towels, soaps, utilities, post-rental cleaning, Wi-Fi, secure designated parking space and welcome pack of groceries.
Deposits/balances via Paypal/BACS transfer. Renter is responsible for all transfer/reception fees for both renter and client.
Changeover day
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday (check in from 3pm, check out by 11am). Shorter rental periods possible in low season and different arrival/departures by prior agreement.

Unfortunately this is an old house with a spiral staircase so is unsuitable for those with mobility problems at the moment. Stair gates provided for children.
Outside
Outdoor dining furniture seats 10. There is a Weber charcoal barbecue provided. The dual aspect courtyard garden is private but we ask you to respect our neighbours at night.

L'Isle sur la Sorgue is around 45 mins drive from the beautiful coast around Marseille. Cassis, the Camargue and the breathtaking Calanques are definitely worth a visit.

Golf courses are a short drive away.
Skiing
The nearest ski slopes are about an hour's drive.

I fell in love with the charm and tranquility of la Marisol with a bustling Provencal market town right on the doorstep. I'm sure you will too. The trick is to unwind and do it Provencal style, everything should be savoured slowly.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
I have always loved the South of France since a child but wanted to get into the heart of real Provence. I fell in love with L'Isle sur la Sorgue with its abundant canals and picturesque streets and markets and have whiled away many an hour in the antique and brocante shops. Cafe lifestyle is right on your doorstep and then you enter the hidden tranquility of la Marisol. I knew it was the house for me right from the start. The love of the vendor was evident and I knew with a lot of love and care I could make it into a beautiful retreat. So a year later la Marisol is newly renovated and every much, if not more, the vision of which I dreamed.
Unique benefits of the property
la Marisol is right in the heart of the ancient town a mere 3 mins from the main square and Notre Dame des Anges. All shops and conveniences are within walking distance and the major supermarkets and DIY shops are a short drive away on the outskirts of town. There are countless permanent antique and brocante shops and worldwide Antiques Fairs at Easter and in mid-August. The contrast between the wonderful smells of the bi-weekly town market with its food, flower and textile stalls and the peaceful tranquility of la Marisol's secluded well stocked courtyard garden a mere minute's walk away, never ceases to amaze. A welcome pause before heading out to buy more from the vibrant market!
