Large private terrace and balcony, perfect for alfresco dining and socialising, with spectacular views down the valley.

A 9 hole golf course is also nearby.
Skiing
Set in the heart of the ski slopes of Chinaillon / Le Grand Bornand, the property has the best location on the slopes, with a truly ski-in, ski-out experience. 100 metres above the principal lift for access to the whole range of on / off piste skiing, paragliding, ski boarding with large purpose designed boardpark with half pipes, jumps, racecourse, slalom. Floodlit night skiing every week. Ski school and private tuition readily available.

Ideal location for cycling, classic car touring, motorbike touring.
Travel
Nearest airport Geneva, just 1 hour drive away, served well by the A40 motorway, or 30 minutes from the historic town of Annecy.
Use of a car is recommended but not essential, as a taxi service can be arranged to the village from the airport as well as a regular ski bus from the terminal to the resort.
The shops, restaurants, bars and amenities of the village are just a 4 minute walk from the chalet.
Distances
Located ideally during the summer months for walking, climbing, cycling, riding, tennis, paragliding, canoeing etc. Ski lifts are opened for mountain bikes also. The historic city of Annecy, nestled alongside it's famous lake, is just a 30 minute drive from the chalet. The Tour De France has passed through the village as one of the high points and the property has excellent views of the area for this.

About the owner
Having visited this location 20 years ago skiing, I rediscovered the village while driving through on a classic car rally in mid summer; and rediscovered the delights of the whole region.
It, for me, blends the best in value for good food and wine, summer & winter activities and a sense of local community.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
Having skied all over Europe for 30 years we finally decided on Chinaillon as the most idyllic spot and decided to make this our second home.
