Our apartments are situated in the typically French village of Meribel Les Allues situated 5 mins walk from the telecabine taking you directly to the main lift station at Chaudanne.

Notes on accommodation
All apartments are suitable for children, with high-chairs, travel cots and a selection of toys and games. Radiators and underfloor heating, plenty of hot water.

Outside
Apartment 1 and Apartment 2 both have balconies with outside furniture and gas fired barbecues.

Golf
Golf is available in the summer from June to September, approx 10 km.

Skiing
Meribel is at the heart of the Three Valleys with over 600 km of groomed pistes and over 200 interconnecting lifts. Les Allues is 5 km from Meribel centre but is connected by the telecabine and a bus service. If conditions are favourable you are able to ski back to the village.

Travel
The main airports are Geneva (2hrs); Lyon (2hrs30 mins); Chambery (1 hr).
Calais and Zeebrugge 600 miles (8 to 10 hrs).
We recommend clients have use of their own transport.

Distances
The nearest town Moutiers is (8 km). Albertville approx 30 km. Annecy approx 60 km.

Further details
In Les Allues there are 4 bar/restaurants, minimarket, tabac shop, ski and boot hire and local church. There is an olympic ice rink and swimming pool, bowling alley, climbing wall in Meribel and leisure centre. There are also tennis courts in the summer. White water rafting. Mountain biking, squash. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, skidoo rides.

About the owner
We live in Leeds in West Yorkshire we took early retirement having owned a wholesale business for 30 years. We decided to take a holiday in Les Allues and fell in love with the village. Rachael our daughter wanted to live there permanently so we bought the chalet which has 3 self contained apartments.

Year purchased: 1995

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Les Allues is a beautiful quiet french village with a lot of atmosphere and nooks and crannies The area abounds with flowers and wildlife. The village has a supermarket run by the owner, 5 bar restaurants serving local food, a beautiful church. museum and a post office. There is a gondala lift 5 mins from the chalet also a free bus service taking skiers up to the Meribel main lifts. The lift also runs in July and August for the walkers and mountain bikers. Everyone who takes a holiday in Les Allues falls in love with it and often returns. We have the choice of 4 airports and can be reached by train to Moutiere and bus or taxi from there.

Unique benefits of the property
The apartments are self catering and are in the middle of Les Allues, convenient for all the restaurants and the bus and lift. There is the option also of having meals cooked for you and brought to the chalet. There is a French takeaway restaurant where you can also book a table to eat in.
