Changeover day
Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. The house is available from 4.30pm and must be vacated by 10am.

3.5 acre completely private hilltop with mature gardens. Palm trees, cypress, poplars and figs flank the house and pool terrace, with the smell of wisteria, lilac, roses and lavender to evoke a truly french atmosphere. Gardens, large patio with stone barbecue, 3 tables with traditional French bistro seating for up to 10 people. 5 loungers and 4 matelas for sunning by the 11 x 5m pool, with child safety alarm. Boules, badminton, croquet.

The property is 1.5 hours from the beaches at Bordeaux.

The nearest 18 hole golf course is in LaFox, 10 minutes from the property. Miniature golf is 15 minutes away.

As recommended in America’s premiere and most popular cooking magazine, Gourmet, as well as Travel and Leisure, Chef Michel Trama is the highest ranking chef in France to conduct custom-designed cooking classes. He personally teaches the classes, with a novel approach: he’ll show you how to cook whatever you want. Learn to cook signature French dishes... foie gras, coq au vin, french pastries. Delicious and exquisitely designed dishes, as only a french chef of his caliber can create. Michel Trama speaks excellent English and has a terrific sense of humor! Classes run from November to March on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only. Practice what you learn in La Crique's charming, well equipped kitchen!
Travel
Toulouse Airport is less then an hour away. Bergerac Airport is an hour and a half away. Car hire is essential.

The charming village of Puymirol is 3 km away. The Summer home of the famed Counts of Toulouse, it is the oldest Bastide (or cliff) village in Lot et Garonne, with a pharmacy, patisserie, grocery store, tobacconist/news and two restaurants, including L'Aubergade. The surrounding area is filled with ‘picture book’ villages built on cliffs, each more beautiful than the next and many part of the “Most Beautiful Villages in France’. Monjoi, Castelsagrat, Montcuq, Lauzerte, Pujols to name a few.

Booking notes
Bookings are confirmed with a payment of 40% of the rental together with the signed booking form and security deposit, which is completely refundable if there is no damage. This is held against any breakages and extra cleaning should it be required. The balance is due 8 weeks before the holiday is due to start. Please note that signing the booking form indicates that you agree not to exceed the maximum number of 7 people staying at the house.
