Self-catering holiday accommodation in the Black Périgord region of the Dordogne located near Les Eyzies. Situated in the grounds of a small and picturesque 16th century chateau, this recently renovated cottage has been delightfully restored to provide light and spacious accommodation. The large pool (18m x 8m x 2m) is shared and situated 300 meters from the cottages, there is a small garden and a lovely view of the chateau. A very good location for exploring the area as it is within easy reach of some of the most celebrated sights of the Périgord. The village of Fleurac is just 12 kms from the town of Rouffignac where local amenities include a boulangerie, bank, supermarket, restaurants, and a Sunday morning market.

An important centre for prehistoric cave art (Lascaux, Font de Gaume), the area is also famous for its spectacular and ancient natural caverns such as the Gouffre de Proumeyssac. Périgord noir is equally renowned for its gastromonie; paté de Fois Gras, Confit of duck and truffles being the most famous.
