Les Oliviers de Virgina is a small, friendly complex of gites which sleep 4 to 6 people. The property is in a tranquil, peaceful setting with pretty, verdant gardens and a lovely swimming pool. Les Oliviers de Virgina is in the foothills of the Fenouilledes and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves - a perfect base for exploring the Pyrenees-Orientales and beyond. The town of Perpignan is close by, as are many major tourist attractions and national heritage sites. Beautiful Mediterranean beaches are a 30 minute drive away - the Pyrenees and Spain are about an hour's drive or you could just laze by the pool with a good book and enjoy some of the 300 days of sunshine we get here each year!

Outside
Each gite has its own private terrace with table and chairs. There is a communal covered terrace with gas bbq and small oven near the pool. The shared swimming pool is 10 x 5m plus steps. There is a raised terrace as well as space around the pool to sunbathe with sun loungers and parasols.
There is also a communal laundry room, washing line and reception area that has books, games and information on local attractions.
Coast/Beach
Miles of beautiful Mediterranean beaches are only a 30 minute drive away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Perpignan which is 10km away.
The airports of Gerona and Carcassone are just over an hour's drive away, and Montpellier is an hour and a half away.
Distances
Les Oliviers de Virgina is just 12km from Perpignan, the capital of Roussillon. Delightful mediterranean fishing ports and famous beach resorts are a half-hour drive away - or head towards the Pyrenees and Spain for some stunning mountain scenery. The area around Les Oliviers de Virgina has many famous gorges, pretty villages such as Tautavel(8km) and Collioure (40km) and historic chateaux such as Fort de Salses (12km), Queribus(18km) as well as numerous opportunities for local wine tasting!
Further details
Cases de Pene has a Boulangerie, village shop, wine cave and a restaurant. There are banks, restaurants and a supermarket in Rivesaltes (8km). There are also a number of hypermarkets surrounding Perpignan.

Bookings can be made by email, either via the website or directly, or by telephone. A booking form (printable from the website or can be sent) needs to be completed and returned with a 25% deposit. The balance will be payable 6 weeks before the arrival date.
