Au Jardin (extensively renovated in 2005) is an old village house (originally 18th century?) on 3 levels situated at the end of a cul de sac. It is about 100 metres from shops and the centre of a thriving wine-producing village of 4,000 inhabitants about 10km from long sandy beaches. In front of the house is a small private walled garden for the exclusive use of guests. On the first floor of the house, overlooking the garden, is a terrace-balcony with table and chairs.

Notes on prices
Payment in UK Pounds or Euro. Prices per week in Euros (Pounds given only as guide). No extras - includes heating, electricity, water and cleaning at the end of the rental. 1 Jul - 2 Sep price is for 2 or 3 people; other periods please add 40 Euros (£30) for a 3rd person. Discounts of 5 - 30 % available for stays of 2 weeks or more. Bedlinen and towels available (small extra charge). Longer winter lets (from 590 Euro/month + electricity) possible - please ask.
Changeover day
July and August changeover day Saturday, otherwise we try to accomodate whatever day suits arrivals and departures of flights or other travel arrangements.

| Living Rooms: | Very light, south facing living room on first floor, with 19th century antique chairs and large French windows opening onto the balcony. The old wooden beams have been carefully preserved, whereas the wooden floor is completely new. Books and games, TV. |
| Other: | On the ground-floor is the open-plan kitchen and dining-room overlooking the garden - or one can eat outside on the marble topped bistro table. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen and towels can be supplied (at a small extra charge). The house is cleaned at the end of each rental (included in the rental fee - no extra charge). |
Notes on accommodation
The house has two traditional winding staircases - not recommended for children under 10 years old or people who have difficulty with stairs. Heating provided by oil-filled and convector heaters. (The house has double-glazed entrance door and windows.) Absolutely no smoking in the house please. No pets allowed.

Outside
There is a table and chairs both on the balcony-terrace and in the garden. A wrought iron BBQ is in the garden area. Free use of mountain bikes (stored in the out-building behind the house).
Coast/Beach
Florensac is about 10km from the sandy Mediterranean coast. There are several good beaches, either shallow and safe for small children or on the 10 mile stretch between Marseillan Plage and Sète.
Travel
Florensac is 7km from exit 34 of the A9 motorway (Montpellier to Perpignan/Spain).
The nearest railway station is in Agde - 10km (with connections to Eurostar trains); we can collect guests from there for a very small charge.
The nearest airport is Montpellier (45km) but Perpignan, Carcassone and Nimes airports are only about 100km from here - all easily reached by motorway.
Distances
Marseillan with its port and restaurants is about 5km, Agde 10km, Pezenas 12km, Beziers 22km, Sete 30km, Montpellier 40km, Carcassonne 100km etc.
Further details
Florensac itself has a complete range of shops, banks, chemists, etc. and also 3 bars and 3 restaurants. There are two markets per week on Tuesday and Saturday.

Booking notes
Payment can be in pounds Sterling (thus avoiding transfer fees) or in Euros. There is a non-refundable 25% deposit payable at the time of booking, and the remaining 75% is to be paid 4 weeks before the holiday. For guests from outside Europe please ask.
