Changeover day
Change over days are flexible but Saturday to Saturday is preferred.
Notes on accommodation
Both rooms are light and airey, tastefully decorated and have tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Just outside the two rooms there is a drinks cooler, books and maps. Rooms are refreshed every morning. Evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement and there are restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Wi-Fi internet is available.
Accessibility
There should not be any access problems for wheelchair users from the car, into the accommodation or into rooms.
Outside
The garden area has a table, chairs, parasol, loungers and barbecue and there is a shared splash pool, 5metre diameter, on the upper patio.
Coast/Beach
About 15 minutes away by car there is a lake with a beach, shop and cafe (in high season) where you can swim safely or use a boat or canoe.
Golf
There is a beautiful 9 hole golf course within a 10 minute drive, right next to the River Dordogne.
There are two other 18 hole courses within 45 minute drives.
Special interest holidays
For those who enjoy the outdoors we organise walking and rambling holidays where you get to visit the most beautiful parts of the area.
Travel
The use of a car is essential to enjoy the area properly. You can fly to Bergerac, about an hour away, and hire a car at the airport, but most of our clients drive from the tunnel or ferry ports. The average journey time is 9 hours and most people make an overnight stop.
Distances
The local village of Domme is only a 15min. walk away with its spectacular views over the valley. Cenac-et-St.-Julien is a short drive for supermarket, fuel, etc. Sarlat-et-Caneda is a 15min drive for more supermarkets, shops and a fantastic medieval town centre.
Further details
Restaurants are numerous and within walking distance or a short drive, on hill tops or by the river, you choose. There are many Chateaux to visit locally in spectacular locations, eg. Beynac and Castelnaud. Most other activities are available near by, fishing, swimming, golf, horse riding and hot air ballooning !

We ask for a 15% deposit on booking and the balance six weeks before your holiday starts. You can book by e.mail or post and deposits can be by cheque or bank transfer.
