The Périgord Vert, the 'green' Dordogne, is a fantastic region for a relaxed holiday in a green environment. There is no mass tourism in this region yet. We are located on the summit of a hill, with a magnificent view over the valley of the river l'Isle. The daily life is here easy and slow. The air is fresh and pure. Domaine Les Pins is nature in its purest form, a place where children can still play freely. You could spend the day reading a good book or enjoying a glass of wine. The area is also very suitable for hiking, mountain biking or horse riding. The routes for the aforementioned are available at the Tourist Office in Thiviers. Another recommendation are the authentic and beautiful villages in the surrounding of Domaine Les Pins.

Notes on prices
Special offer (except the high season). By rent 2 weeks: 2nd week less 30% discount. By rent 3 weeks: 3rd week less 60% discount. By rent 4 weeks: 4th week free! Additional: Final cleaning: €45,00 per booking. Heating € 30,00 per week incl. fire wood (2/10 to 30/4). Internet (Wifi), sheets, towels and tax are included. Bring your own beach towels. Deposit: € 150,00. This shall be refunded within two weeks after your departure after deduction of any damage.
Changeover day
The arrival and departure day is on Saturday. Arrival after 16.00 pm and departure before 10.00 am.

| L'Hêtre is very rustic and completely furnished cottage and has an original fireplace. Everything is ground floor. On the front of the cottage is a terrace with magnificent view and comfortable garden furniture. All the sheets, towels and internet are included. Bedroom with 3 single boxsprings (90x210) and a big loft with 2 single beds (90x200). Boxsprings, with four season duvets and pillows. All anti-allergic and anti dust mites. The bathroom is near to the bedroom, separate WC. An open kitchen with cold freezer, gas, dishwasher, oven, microwave, senseo, kettle. Also available: washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, camping cot, high chair, barbecue. | |

Included a very big garden with many fruit trees, a magnificent view, outdoor furniture, barbecue.
Coast/Beach
Nantheuil 4km, Plan d'eau. A beautiful swimming lake, with a beach and a little restaurant. Rouffiac 20km. A large lake where you can canoe and water skiing. The river Isle where you can fish and canoe.
Golf
In the area of the Perigord Vert / Limousin there are many golf courses available also near Perigueux. We recommend a Golf Pass Limousin. You can play three or five games golf at a reasonable price, with a choice of nine different golf courses. Most at reasonable distance from Domaine Les Pins.
Travel
Domaine les Pins is approximately 8 hours drive from the northern ferry ports of Calais and Boulogne. The most direct route is by motorway to Limoges and then on the RN21 to Thiviers and then to Nanthiat. Daily flights operate from the UK to Limoges (45 minutes), Bergerac (1 hour 30) and Bordeaux (2 hours). These airports are well serviced from London Stansted, Southampton, Liverpool, Bristol and East Midlands.

Further details
Every Saturday is market in Thiviers. One of the largest regional markets in the area. Specializes in regional products: foie gras, nuts, grains, etc. In addition, from mid November to mid March, there is a special Foie Gras market. In the months of June through September has Thiviers some fun tourist activities such as brocantes, night markets, wine festivals and a large fair. You find many supermarkets, shops, banks etc. in Thiviers.
Equestrian sport
Arnac Pompadour, 35 km., not only worthwhile for its castle, but known for the equestrian sports. All forms of this sport are there. Flat racing, steeplechase, dressage and jumping events are here regularity. And not just nationally but also internationally. Do you like horses? Then is a visit to Pompadour a MUST!

You will receive a confirmation email and the invoice of your booking. We ask you to pay 50% deposit and we would like to receive the payment within 8 days. After we received the deposit the booking is complete and you will receive the confirmation by email. Please consider a cancellation insurance. Six weeks for the arrival date we would like to receive the last part of the payment.
