Owner profile

About the owner
Martin and Carrie Dye have been part of the village life for 22 years since buying this small part of France. On our 21st anniversary we held a street party for the whole village and everyone came. The local people are very friendly and make all visitors most welcome. We holiday here at least twice a year and love every minute of it.

Year purchased: 1980's

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the property on a wild impulse but have never regretted it. The Aveyron was little known at the time but has a wealth of historic sites and stunning scenery. The A20 autoroute makes access easy but if driving from the channel ports we would recommend staying around Orleans on the way down. If bringing a pet the local vets are very helpful and not too costly.
