A spacious Provencale style villa which sits in full sun all day, magnificent views over Boussagues and down the valley towards La Tour sur Orb. The villa is comfortably furnished and everything you require is provided. Nothing much has happened in the medieval village of Boussagues in the last 1000 years, if you want a relaxing holiday with peace and quiet, this could be it. Although you are no more than 10 minutes from Bedarieux with bars and restaurants and the Med is only 50 minutes away. Click 'More Photos' for more images. Notes on accommodation
There is a 3.5 metre diameter splash pool there is also safe swimming in the River Mare nearby and a waterpark with water flumes at Lunas which is a 10 minute drive.
Accessibility
The ground floor double bedroom is next to the main bathroom, the entrance to the villa is on level ground and access into the villa is very easy.
Outside
Garden to the front of the house with 3.5 metre diameter swimming pool plus a wild garden of 1000 sq.m. with cherry, fig and olive trees. There are 4 sunbeds and a selection of tables and chairs.
Coast/Beach
Cap d'Agde and Valras Plage are 50 mins by car.
Golf
We have 7 great courses within 1 hour. The local golf course at Lamalou is 15 minutes away, there are 9 holes but they are expanding it to 18. We have it on good authority from previous guests that the course, although only 9 holes, is better kept and more enjopyable to play than most UK courses.The other courses are at Juvingac Fontcaude, Cap d'Agde, Beziers, Montpellier Massane, Grande Motte and Coulondres.
Travel
There are 6 airports within 2 hours - Montpellier 1.5 hrs, Carcassonne Perpignan and Nimes 1.45 hrs, Toulouse and Girona 2 hrs.
Distances
La Tour sur Orb 5 mins by car. Bedarieux 10 mins by car. Beziers, Pezenas and Clermont l'Herault 40 mins by car.
Further details
There are wonderful walks around the village, if you wish to swim then there are great rock pools in the river Mare which is 10 mins by car. There is horse riding within 10 mins and canoeing at Roquebrun which is 35 mins. We are half an hour from the thermal spa town of Avene.
Booking notes
A 30% rental deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance 8 weeks prior to arrival together with the security deposit.
A welcome pack of Milk, Orange Juice, Bread, Butter, Cheese and wine is provided upon arrival.

About the owner
We decided to leave the UK for a new life, we have been living in France since 2000 and enjoyed every moment. Maggie and I are very outgoing and love meeting people. I had a T-shirt printing business and Maggie was an Estate Agent. We both hit the big six-o in 2010 but due to the lifestyle in France we certainly do not feel it. We enjoy the wonderful scenery of the area and of course the climate, which during the summer is not humid like it it is by the coast.
