Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday Departure time 10am. Arrival time 4pm. Out of season dates are flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Pette Loup is available for rental throughout the year as it has gas central heating and a wood burning stove. Pette Loup is a very safe environment for children, or pets, both which are warmly welcomed! The property is totally enclosed by a large double gate at the entrance which can be locked if you wish, walls or fencing. Also although only 2km away from the nearest village of Tournon St. Martin, Pette Loup is situated approximately half a kilometer from the road down a very quiet lane, it would be exaggerating to say three cars a day use it!
Accessibility
A perfect gite for those who find stairs difficult, as washing and WC. facilities along with the master bedroom are all on ground level.
Outside
If you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet Pette Loup is the perfect choice the extensive garden is surrounded by French countryside as far as the eye can see, turn full circle and you will not see another property just clear views of woodland and nature. The property is totally enclosed and private, walk through the patio doors from the master bedroom, lounge, kitchen, or front door onto a patio area with a large table with ample seating and parasol, under a wisteria canopy, the brick built barbeque is situated here. Stepping down onto the vast gravelled courtyard, with ample space for several cars. The swimming pool area is again totally enclosed and visible from any of the French windows at the property. The pool area is tiered creating large areas for sun loungers.
Travel
Poitiers airport is the nearest, with flights from Stansted and Birmingham 52km away, hire cars are readily available here, a car really is essential. There are two other airports which are fairly near, Tours 80km away which has direct flights from Stansted and Dublin. The other, Limoges which is served by Ryanair which flies from several airports in the UK including Liverpool, and Stansted is 98km away.
Distances
The nearest village Tournon St Martin is just 2km away. The famous Futroscope theme park is just 46km away a great family day out for young and not so young alike. There are several Chateaux that are well worth a visit within an 80km radius, the renowned Chateaux de Villandry which has magnificent gardens, the medieval Chateaux de Loches which has dungeons, a must for boys with imaginations.
Further details
The nearest village Tournon St. Martin, is really a small town, it offers everything you would require on a day to day basis, post office, bank, chemist, doctors surgery, two small supermarkets, cafes, an excellent restaurant, very child friendly and last but not least, a fantastic bakery, for warm croissants. The nearest large supermarket and petrol station is approximately 6km away, Yzures sur Creuse, I would recommend this for larger shopping trips, it offers an extensive range of goods. The spa town of La Roche Posay not only offers water with healing properties(the locals would have us believe!), but also has a 9 and 18 hole golf course, a casino and regular horse racing days at the race course. The town square is lined with cafes and restaurants, offering pizza lunches for families, or high end cuisine in the spa hotel. This pretty town is only 15 minutes drive from Pette Loup.

A deposit of 30% of the total rental cost is required to confirm the booking, the final payment to be made 8 weeks prior to the rental period, along with a security deposit payment of £75, which is fully refunded within 14 days of your departure.
