Vives Villa is situated in a superb location above the village of Vives, near Ceret and Le Boulou with views of Mount Canigou and the Pyrenees. A comfortable family villa with private pool, sunny terrace and stunning views in an ideal location for family holidays to Southern France, on the Mediterranean and close to the Spanish border. Or just get away from it all and relax, take in the views and enjoy. The villa has an adjoining apartment for larger groups.

Changeover day
Saturday in July and August. Priority given to two week + bookings during July and August. Arrivals on other days considered at all other times of the year and for varying lengths of stay.

Notes on accommodation
Pets accepted on request, but not in July or August as it is too hot for them. Ideal family villa for 4 to 9 persons.
Accessibility
We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate anyone with mobility problems. This villa or apartment is not suitable for wheelchairs of disabled. A car is essential.
Outside
Pool 8 x 4m with security alarm. Sunny terrace around the pool with brick BBQ, sun chairs, table chairs, parasols.
Coast/Beach
Argeles beach 30 mins drive. St. Cyprien 35 mins drive. All beaches are wide flat and safe with coast guards and emergency facilities. Smaller coves can be explored along the winding coastline into Spain.
Golf
Golf at St. Cyprien or up into the Pyrenees overlooking Spain at Falgos.
Special interest holidays
Walking clubs and tours are available but you can walk directly from the villa into the mountains along the paths and tracks around the village and vineyards. Bike hire from Ceret.
Wine tasting tours. Artists in all the surrounding towns and villages have exhibitions and run short courses in a range or skills from drawing, painting, screen printing etc.
Travel
Perpginan 40 mins. Girona (Spain) 70 mins. Barcelona (Spain), Carcasonne, Montpelier all 2 hours drive. TGV to Perpginan from London via Lille or Paris. Boat/train with the car to Narbonne station (1 hour distance).
Distances
Nearest village - Vives - Auberge only 5 mins walk.
St. Jean Pla de Corts - 10 mins drive with small shops, lakes and restaurants.
Ceret or Le Boulou are both just 15 mins drive with all shops, banks, restaurants, markets, doctors etc.
Further details
Ceret is well known for its Catalan Market on Saturdays and Tuesday night market. The nearest village is St. Jean Pla de Corts, with the fabulous lakes and views, high wires, wine bar, restaurant, bakery, pharmacy. Vives has a Catalan Auberge which serves local fayre fit for every hungry walker and cyclist. Banks, shops, bars, restaurants, newsagents and supermarkets at the local towns just 10 mins in either direction - Le Boulou or Ceret.
Booking notes
Deposit fee of 300 euros to secure booking - non refundable. Balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Security deposit of 500 euros required - returned with 7 days of departure if no damage/breakage reported by House Managers. Kindly leave the Villa and apartment as found on arrival.
