Changeover day
Changeover in high season usually Saturday. Arrive after 4pm leave at 10am.

50 minutes to skiing and mountain walks. 50 minutes to the Mediterranean. We are in the middle of Cathar country with all the history of the castles, mystery of the Da Vinci code and of course Carcassonne. Canal du Midi is only a few minutes away at Bram.

Carcassonne Golf Club. International standard 30 minutes. Toulouse 50 minutes.
Travel
Carcassonne has multiple bargain flights from UK. See Ryanair. Toulouse (50 minutes) is an international airport with low cost as well as maor carriers. Beziers has flights to UK plus other european destinations. There are further airports at Perpignan, Montpelier and Girona. Train to Carcassonne from Paris.

Edge of village 200 yards for bread. Carcassonne 20k. Toulouse 65k. Canal du Midi 10 minutes. Mirepoix 25k. Limoux 18k. Surrounded by wineries and markets.

Lovely restaurants in Castelnaudary, home of cassoulet! Supermarkets 5 minutes, bank 8 minutes. Great countryside for walking.
