La Bergerie, is a 200 year old stone shepherd's cottage nestling on a hillside with panoramic views of the countryside and Pyrenees in the distance, and is surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields. It is beamed throughout and lovingly renovated by the previous architect-owner with the aid of local craftsmen. There are 4 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, very large kitchen/dining, and living-room with French windows onto terrace with BBQ overlooking the valley. Two very large inglenook fireplaces dominate both these rooms. The swimming pool 10m x 6m is secluded and set in a landscaped area with palm and fig trees. The property is 45 mins from Toulouse airport and 10 mins from Lisle sur Tarn, a small medieval colonnaded town with a vibrant Sunday market on the square. It is situated on a private 'no through' road, lined by vineyards on one side and a small wooded copse.
