Holiday home offers you a large kitchen / dining / living room (kitchen fully fitted). Two twin rooms one with shower/toilet the other with shower handbasin and separate toilet. Sunny terrace at the back of the house has BBQ and ample garden furniture. The holiday home has been tastefully furnished with original features, high ceiling with wooden beams, original stone walls. The living room has a Godin wood burner. 500 mtrs. walk will take you to the village of Le Bugue. Le Bugue has a large market every Tuesday, plenty of shops, post office, bank, restaurants and bars. Pets are very welcome and we have WiFi (broadband) internet.

The holiday home has everything you need on one level, we have no special facilities for persons with special needs but as it is all on one floor and the area is quite big, a wheelchair could be easily moved.
Outside
Garden is small but we have a sunny terrace with B.B.Q and ample garden furniture, parking space is next to the home thus safe and of the main road.
Coast/Beach
In Dordogne we have two large rivers that meet - the Vezere and the Dordogne at Limeuil 6km. This place is marvellous for river beaches, actually both rivers have places where you can lay in the sun and swimming.

15 km to Golf course.
How to get there
Nearest airport is Bergerac about 45km., Bordeaux Airport is 160km. Car Hire is possible at both airports. Le Bugue to Channel Port is about 800km. It is recommended - use of a car.
Distances
The vacation home is about 500 mtrs. walking to the centre of the village Le Bugue. Le Bugue is perfect base from which to visit the famous Lascaux Caves, Chateaux, Bastides, and also historical villages Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Domme and Tremolat and off course Limeuil (where the Vezere and Dordogne rivers meet). Bergerac, Perigueux about 40 min.
Further details
Le Bugue has all the shops you need - supermarkets, Bricomarche, coiffure, banks, post office, Restaurants and Bars and off course some very nice patisserie.
For children Le Bugue has a big swimming pool, an open air museum and aquarium with midget golf.

About the owner
My husband and I moved from Holland to the Dordogne 11 years ago. We had our own hotel in Holland and needed to get away from the stress of running your own business. We love it here and for my husband's health situation it has been excellent. We speak Dutch, English and German and off course French (although I still struggle with the french). From owning a hotel in Holland we know what holiday makers are looking for when they go on holiday. We try to give every comfort and we are always ready to help in anyway.

Why the owner chose a cottage in this location
For holiday makers who do not know the Dordogne it is a lovely part of France. Villages, Castles, Bastides and beautiful country site. The rivers Vezere and Dordogne which flow gentle through the country site make it extra special.
