The house is situated between the small fishing port of Dahouet and the magnificent sandy beach of Val André (only 450 yards from the front door) with its unspoilt mile long promenade and panoramic view of St Brieuc. All water sports are catered for. There are also miles of rugged coastline to explore on the well maintained footpaths. Val André has a variety of shops, restaurants, boutiques as well as a renowned golf course (one of the top five in France), local riding centre and a casino. There's something for everyone. In the other direction, at the same distance from the house is the fishing port of Dahouet with its small marina and local fishing fleet. There are cafés and restaurants to explore but not so many as to be overwhelming. The welcome is typically Breton and we are sure you will appreciate the local seafood dishes.

Val Andre's beaches are walking distance, but close by there are also La Ville Berneuf, Erquy, Sables d'Or beaches and many more along the coast to explore and enjoy.
Golf
Pleneuf Val André golf links are situated on the sea front and offer spectacular sea views. Golf Magazine US and Peugeot Guide consider them to be among the finest courses in Europe with their spectacular 11th hole. Club hire, golf bag, buggy.
Travel
Nearest airports: St Brieuc (15min), Dinard (30min) and Rennes (1hour). Nearest ferry ports: St Malo, Roscoff.
