The chalet is an hours drive from Geneva airport bringing you into the heart of the Grand Massif skiing area (5 mins drive away) and stunningly pretty walks from the chalet door. It is an ideal area for bird watching and photography. Every kind of outdoor activity is never far away and a holiday can be as energetic or relaxing as you wish to make it. The historic towns of Annecy and Geneva (with their lovely lakes) Lyon with it's old quarter are all within an hour's drive. The nearest village of Morillon has it's own lake with beach (ideal for the children) and the picturesque village of Samoens with it's medieval square is perfect for coffee or a sundowner whilst watching the world go slowly by.

Changeover day
Changeover day can be flexible. Departure time would be 10.00 and arrival time 4.00 (both of which can be negotiated where possible).
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 is spacious with a double bed, side lockers and large triple wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has two single beds with dressing table. |
| Bathrooms: | One bathroom with sink, slipper bath and toilet. An additional separate toilet. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, butler sink and butchers block. |
| Living Rooms: | Open plan dining and living area with wood burning stove. DVD/Video player. There is a sofa bed in this area however it is not advertised for sleeping, although a 5th person could be accommodated. |

Bedlinen and towels are provided and additional sets given to guests staying more than one week. |

Accessibility
Unfortunately this property is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
There is a balcony with furniture and a terrace area with garden furniture for alfresco eating, with barbecue and use of garden area.
Skiing
The chalet is 5 mins drive from the nearest telecabine which gives access to the large Grand Massif skiing area, taking in Morillon, Samoens, Lez Carroz, Sixt and Flaine. With Samoens having the GME (Grand Massif Express) able to take skiers up the mountain in 8 minutes.
Travel
Geneva airport is an hour's drive away and a hire car from the airport would be needed. Calais is approximately 8 hours drive.
Distances
The nearest village of Morillon is 5 mins drive and 15 minutes of pleasurable walking. Samoens is 10 mins drive and can be walked in an hour through forest tracks next to the river Giffre. The historic towns of Annecy and Geneva with their beautiful lakes and Lyon with it's ancient quarter are all one hours drive away. Chamonix with the famous Mt Blanc and Mt Blanc tunnel giving access to pretty villages of norther Italy and also one hour away.
Further details
Their is an abundance of local restaurants, two large supermarkets, with local banks in Samoens. The whole region has a host of varying leisure activities.
Booking notes
A deposit of £250 required with booking and the balance paid in cash euros on arrival. A caution cheque of £250 is also requested on arrival and returned if all is okay after departure.
