This delightfully restored old property on the edge of a small town with all facilities close by. Very close to the wine producing areas of Nolay, Beaune and Chalon sur Saone. In the heart of Burgundy and also very close to the Parc Du Morvan, the national park with its miles of unspoilt forests and country side and lakes for fishing and boating. The historic town of Autun is only about 10 miles away. We also are close to the TGV station of Le Creusot which puts Paris within easy travelling distance for Disneyworld within about 1 hr 30 mins. The station has ample parking, or we can take you there and collect if required for a small charge. We have a large garden for your use with seating to enjoy your drink during the day and evenings and a pool is available for you or your children to use

Notes on prices
Prices given are for 2 pers rooms, the family room which sleeps 4 plus a baby costs 75 Euro per night including breakfast. A reduction of 5 Euro per night for multiple nights.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms are centrally heated and the accommodation is suitable for children. A cot and highchair is available if required. Please book this with your booking.
Accessibility
The bedrooms are all on the second floor and there is no arrangements for wheelchair users.
Outside
Large garden with mature fruit trees and an above surface pool of about 7 x 1m deep. It is available for shared use but children must be supervised. It is not heated.
Golf
Golf is available in Autun where there is a large golf club (18 hole) about 10 miles away.
Special interest holidays
Ideal for cycling holidays, cycle tracks start just outside the house. and for walking. Also the vineyards are within 10 minutes drive away where you can sample the best of Burgundy without breaking the bank. Also the historic town of Autun (old Roman town) is about 20 minutes drive away. The Parc du Morvan is also very close with miles of forests and lakes. Boat rental is available here too.
Travel
Lyon and Geneva are both within about 2 hr 30 mins travelling distance. Flights from Dijon are in operation now daily from April till November from Southampton. The airport is about 45mins drive away from the property
The TGV station with connections to Paris and Marseilles is about 25km away and there is also a trainstation at Autun for SNCF trains.

We provide a good continental breakfast and there is a good small restaurant available during the summer months from April to November about 1 mile away. Other restaurants are available in near towns and villages.

About the owner
We run a small family business and we speak not only French, but English, Dutch and German. My husband did most of the renovation work here and last year we had many highly impressed customers. We have very close relations with the local Tourist office who help us with such things as brochures of local activities and also help with enquiries. The tourist office is about a mile away from the house. Fresh bread is collected daily so all food is fresh

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
It is located in an ideal spot for the wine lovers as we are very close to the famous Burgundy wine producers of Beaune, Nolay, Mercury and Pommard. All of which are within 30mins travel from here. Also the historic town of Autun is just 19km away and the Morvan National park just a 30minute drive away. We have a large garden where you can relax and enjoy your wine with several tables and chairs dotted around.
