Thursday. Arrival after 4pm. Departure before 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The house is single storey. 3 steps lead down from the living/kitchen area to the 3 bedrooms and large bathroom. Air-conditioning is available on request and metered separately at an extra charge.
Accessibility
There are 1 or 2 steps to enter the house from each entrance. There are also steps onto the terraces. The interior of the house is tiled and doors are wide enough for a wheelchair, but 3 steps lead down from the living area of the house to the bedroom area - no handrail. There are 2 showers with shower trays and 1 bath which could be tricky to get in and out of. 1 toilet has plenty of space for a wheelchair. The grounds outside are uneven and unsuitable for a wheelchair.
Outside
Extensive grounds (1 acre) offering plenty of space for ball games and parking. The private pool (11x4.5m) has a pool-house for shade, 6 loungers and table and bench. Barbecue. Tables and chairs on the terrace and patio for open-air dining.
The grounds are fenced in, and the pool is fenced off separately and has a safety cover. There are, however, thorny bushes and uneven ground which could make the grounds unsuitable for toddlers.
Coast/Beach
Cassis and Bandol are 45 minutes drive away. They are pretty little seaside towns offering beaches with lifeguards, fishing harbours, water sports, boat trips (from Bandol to Bendor and Embiez islands, from Cassis to the beautiful Calanques (creeks) and excellent seafood restaurants.
Golf
Pont Royal 18-hole golf club (designed by Balisteros) 30 minutes away. Driving range and short course in Aix, 20 minutes' drive. Set Club golf course 30 minutes away. Beautiful course at Fuveau (20km).
Travel
Marseille Airport 30 minutes drive (Easyjet, Ryanair and BA from Gatwick, Liverpool, Glasgow, Dublin).
Nimes Airport 1 hours drive (Ryan Air from Luton and Stansted).
Please check flights as there are frequent changes and additions.
Nice Airport 2 hours' drive (several airlines).
As the house is situated in the countryside, the use of a car is essential.

Basic shops and Post Office in Meyrargues. Carrefour Supermarket and shopping centre 5km away. All shops, restaurants, Friday market in nearby town of Pertuis.
Aix a huge market 3 times a week, banks, hundreds of restaurants, cinemas, boutiques, concerts, festivals.
Booking notes
20% booking deposit (non-refundable), 80% 6 weeks before holiday. Breakages deposit of £300 cheque returned by post within 1 week of end of stay if no breakages. Starting/finishing day is usually Thursday, but please see the availability calendar.
