The accommodation is suitable for 2 people only, and is on 3 different levels on the 'ground floor'. There is a fully equipped kitchen (up 2 steps), dining area (down 1 step) and a bedroom (down 3 steps) with en-suite shower room. French doors from the bedroom open onto a small south-facing terrace. Upstairs, to take advantage of the lovely view, there is comfortable sitting-room with french doors opening onto a large south-facing balcony. To the rear of the property, (north facing) is the entrance drive and a private terrace which looks onto a small orchard. The property is not suitable for people who have difficulty with steps and stairs. There is lots to see and do in the area, good restaurants, and easy access to a wide variety of vineyards,e.g. Cahors, Bergerac, Bordeaux and Armagnac.

About the owner
We are a retired Scottish couple who moved to Roquecor in October 1998, looking for a change of life-style and better weather. This has been one of the best decisions we have ever made.
We are almost always on hand to give help and / or advice to our guests, if needed.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We find the area quite beautiful, very rural with the fields changing colour with every season. We have easy access to the airports of Toulouse, Bergerac and Bordeaux, and with not much traffic on the roads, going anywhere is not difficult.
Unique benefits of the property
At the end of a cul-de-sac, there is no passing traffic and except for tractor noise, and the occasional braying of a neighbouring donkey, there is little to spoil the peace and tranquillity .
