Changeover day
Saturdays preferred throughout the peak season. Arrival time 4pm departure 10am. Flexible on days of changeover and arrival/departure times in low season.

Lovely balcony with sea view overlooking Collioure. Table and chairs for 4 people. Attractive and colourful geranium planters.
Coast/Beach
Collioure has 3 seperate beaches. The nearest one is approx 800m walk from the apartment. the furthest beach is only 1200m away. All walking distance.
Golf
Golf at St Cyprian is only 20 mins drive away.
Travel
Perpignan airport (PGF) is the nearest. approx 18 miles / 30 minute drive. Alternatively, Gerona (GRO) across the border in Spain is approx 50 miles / 60 mins drive. Also possible Toulouse - 2 hours. Carcassonne 1 hour. Car recommended to see this beautiful region, but guests have stayed in Collioure for the entire 2 weeks and not ventured out of the village. Train station in the village and bus service to Perpignan and surrounding villages.
Distances
The village centre is the same distance as the beach - 800m, with its abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars. There is a busy interesting market on Sundays and Wednesdays. The village has the all important bread shops! banks, pharmacists, post office, tourist information office and all the usual amenites - doctors, dentists etc, should they be necessary.
Further details
Horse riding approx 10 mins drive away. Golf course at St Cyprian approx 20 mins drive away. Great area for walking & mountain biking.

Full booking terms available but in simple terms 25% deposit at the time of reservation. The balance plus a £100 refundable deposit is due 2 months before the start date of your holiday.

We are back from a splendid holiday and would like to say how very much we enjoyed your apartment in Collioure. We were very impressed when we first arrived but stunned by the view when we opened the shutters, revealing such a splendid panoramic view of the town and the Med. The facilities you provided were excellent and the position of the apartment, so close to the town by a 10 minute walk, made it very easy to shop and pop back ready for the days adventures or indulgent lazing on the beach. About the owner
We are a professional couple who have run our own successful business for more than 25 years in Cheshire, south of Manchester. We have 1 daughter and a lovely cocker spaniel.
We discovered the Languedoc Rousillion area of France in the mid 1980's, when we purchased our 1st property -the Collioure apartment (FR6011).
In the late 90's we bought our house in Laroque Des Alberes (FR5984), in a somewhat "tatty" condition. It was purposely built as two self contained apartments on the ground and first floor. The French owner had simply rented them out and done nothing to either apartment or the garden since the day it was built.
But, we could see the potential. So we renovated the 1st floor apt first. Built a swimming pool & sun terrace. Then renovated downstairs for our private use.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Collioure is known as the jewel in the crown on this beautiful coastline. The mountains dramatically come right down to the sea and provide a fantastic opportunity for walking and scenic drives.
Choice of airports nearby so flight availability is excellent and we can offer advice if required.
Collioure has a warren of tiny streets that offer many restaurants and boutique shops. 3 beaches and a new headland walkway over to Argeles. Hire a pedalo, book a boat trip, watch the children play on the park, scuba dive or take a trip on the little yellow train through the vineyards for the fantastic elevated views.
Car not always needed as Collioure has trains to Perpignan and a bus service to neighbouring villages. We can provide details of taxis or tell you about the new Frog Bus.
Unique benefits of the property
Superb location in a quiet residential area. 800 metres into the village and 3 lovely beaches. The full width sliding doors open onto the dining balcony with a wonderful sea view.
The small development of about 36 apartments is occupied mainly by French owners as their 2nd homes. All apartments are individual but not all have 'the view'.
The summer evenings can be busy in the village centre so the short stroll back to the haven of the apartment is pleasant. The village is pedestrianised but parking is available right near the apartment
The apartment has a TV and a DVD player. We have a few CDs but don't forget your favourites. The bookcase is full and exchanges are welcome. An information folder tells you about restaurants and places to visit.
