Our home in Les Chartreuses du Boulou offers a magnificent view of the valley and Alberes Mountains situated at 855ft altitude. Le Boulou 3km away, is a peaceful thermal village where time just seems to stand still. All amenities are available, however, such as bread shops, fishmonger, newsagent, supermarkets and local restaurants. This large spacious house allows families and diverse age groups to have privacy, peace and quiet. If guests are down at the pool area, others can enjoy the tranquility of the house.

Changeover day
Saturday changeover day in the high season. Arrival time is 4pm and departure is 10am.

Two ground floor bedrooms have air-conditioning.
Accessibility
We are sorry but our house is not suitable for people with mobility problems due to the mountainous terrain.
Outside
Large outside covered terrace with exceptional view and barbecue. Table and chairs in dining area for 10/12. Lounge chairs and coffee table in 'aperitif' area. The swimming pool is 10x4m surrounded by a large sun terrace, trees and natural stone walls. The area has been securely protected with gate for small children. Sun loungers are provided. Ping-pong table and basketball in pool area. Pool maintenance carried out once a week. Included in the price, a tennis court is available in the residence, shared by other home owners but very rarely used. A private key also gives you access to a large swimming pool, accessible at the same leisure site. It will take you about 5 minutes walk from the house to reach the pool and tennis court.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is Argeles plage, approximately 20 minutes drive with shops, restaurants and night-life.
Family beach with life-guards is at Le Racou, about 30 minutes drive on the way to Collioure. Quiet, good parking.
Collioure port is picturesque and beautiful to visit evening or daytime, the beach is small however, with pebbles.
Golf
St Cyprien at 25 kilometers (18 miles).
Special interest holidays
Route des Vins Languedoc, Cathare castles.
Travel
Perpignan airport is 30km up the motorway in France.
Gerona airport is 80km down the motorway, into Spain.
Barcelona airport is 190km away, all motorway into Spain.
Car hire is recommended, just be sure to inform the hire company that you will be crossing the Spanish/French border for insurance purposes.
Distances
3km to Le Boulou village.
8km over into Spain, Le Perthus.
13km to Argeles.
30km to Perpignan train station.
Further details
Two big supermarkets just at the exit of Le Boulou 4km. McDonalds etc.
Big local market in Ceret on Saturday mornings 5km.
