A three bedroom villa with private pool, garden, three bedrooms and two bathrooms situated beside Fayence in the Var. The town has narrow streets, craft shops, antique dealers and a regular Provencal market. The villa lies near many leisure areas including Lake St. Cassian, the Verdon Gorges, the coast and the amenities of the village including the tennis club and municipal outdoor swimming pool. It is within 2 minutes of Europe's largest gliding centre and many golf courses are also within easy reach. The villa is built to the highest standards, has a shady terrace, and upstairs outdoor terrace and terracotta colors. The living room and kitchen open onto the terrace and garden with the swimming pool and garden. Access to the villa is by a shared driveway with the adjoining villa (unoccupied in 2012). The area with its climate, wonderful nature, fine restaurants, great supply of fresh food, festivals and sights together bring about a beautiful place to live and holiday.

Notes on accommodation
The house was purchased new in 2007 and furnished over the last four years to combine a fresh contemporary feel with Provencal touches. Fans and a mobile air-conditioning unit available.
Outside
The pool is 8x4 m further extended by a metre by roman steps. It has three loungers and two pool chairs. It is extensively tiled and is maintained weekly and as necessary by a friend who lives close by. The pool is for the sole use of the Villa's guests. It is 1 metre deep at the shallow end sloping to 1.6 metres at its deepest point. The pool area is reached through a small arch from the shared entrance road across which is a another garden which leads to the front of the house with plants and shrubs. Parking is reserved at the villa at the gate and front door as required.
Coast/Beach
The Cote d'Azur with its jutting headlands and beautiful beaches is within a half hour drive.
Golf
There are two golf courses at Tourrettes (10 minutes drive), Terre Blanche and Le Riou. There are many other courses within a drive at Grasse and St. Raphael, as well as the very challenging Golf de St Endreol at La Motte.
Travel
15km from the A8 motorway. 30km from railway station at Saint Raphael. 50km from Nice International airport (45 minutes drive), Marseille airport is a 1 hour 15 minutes drive. A car is essential to make the most of this location and the sights.
Distances
Lac St Cassian 5 minute drive. Montauroux village and other shops and banks 5 minute drive. Fayence swimming pool, tennis etc 2 minute drive; village hilltop 5 minutes. Grasse 20 minutes drive. Cannes 30 minute drive. Nice 50 minutes. Bus service to Grasse, Cannes and Saint Raphael Draguignan.
Booking notes
Bookings can be made by telephone with email confirmation. A 10% deposit is required at booking and the balance is payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. Payment by electronic means is preferred. A 200 euro returnable cash deposit is also required on receipt of keys for any breakage or damage.

Having bought the villa unfurnished in 2007 I have spent the last four years furnishing the house when I could get over to France. The pool was built in 2008. The photos reflect the interior style I was trying to achieve and the garden and landscaping is maturing well. I think you will find the villa spacious, bright and modern with some Provencal touches.

You can travel easily to nearby Saint Cassien lake with watersports, the Verdon Gorges, skiing at Greolieres les Neiges(50km), Europe's largest gliding centre (2 minutes) and numerous golf courses. The tennis club and outdoor municipal pool are within walking distance (2 minutes by car). It is just 15km to the A4 motorway, 26 km to beaches at Saint Raphael and Frejus,50km to Nice airport.
