As well as the immediate Sainte Foy resort, 15 mins access to Tignes/Val D'Isere and Les Arcs. It is possible to ski back to the door off piste.

Travel
Nearest airport for scheduled flights is Grenoble, approximately 90 mins drive. Lyon and Geneva also provide easy access and are within about 105 mins drive. It is also possible to arrive direct into Bourg Saint Maurice via Eurostar.

Distances
15 min drive to nearest town of Bourg Saint Maurice for shopping. Other places of interest within an hour's drive include the beautiful town of Annecy with its stunning lake and canal. There are also many beautiful scenic drives through the local mountainous terrain and fantastic hiking routes to challenge walking enthusiasts.

Further details
Visit nearby Bourg Saint Maurice which has cinema, swimming pool, large supermarkets and picturesque pedestrianised area for shopping. Great local restaurants and bars.

About the owner
Originally from Cardiff, I have lived in London for 15 years and am a huge skiing fan. I bought my apartment in 2007 and It is easy to get to from either Grenoble or Lyon and is just a 15 min drive from Tignes/Val D'Isere and Les Arcs. The village is small but picturesque and the apartment has beautiful views from two private balconies. I've chosen a cosy local Savoyarde decor which provides a welcoming feel. It's also perfectly positioned for summer breaks as there are lots of local activities to enjoy nearby, as well as summer skiing and golf at Tignes !

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I wanted to buy in a traditional village to enjoy this stunning area all year round. I chose the beautiful quaint village of Sainte Foy as it had everything I was looking for. Not only does it have its very own exclusive and peaceful ski resort (no queuing!), but also its central location makes it perfect for visiting other well known resorts close by such as Tignes/Val D'Isere and Les Arcs. I also love the fact that it's located a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of the resort, and yet has easy access to the lifts via the ski-shuttle. Not only can you partake of the resort's wonderful apres ski, but it has its very own within minutes of your own door step.

Unique benefits of the property
The apartment, being in a central traditional village location, has superb restaurants within a 3 minute walk and a couple of convenience stores. There are also other wonderful village restaurants close by, which I highly recommend to all my guests. It is also within 15 mins of two large supermarkets in the nearby town of Bourg Saint Maurice which is also great for soaking up some of the wonderful Savoyarde atmosphere and a spot of shopping, be it interior design, fashion or local crafts. Bourg Saint Maurice also has some superb restaurants in which to sample the wonderful local cuisine or something a bit more cosmopolitan !
