There are nearby attractions such as Gorge de Verdon (hiking, camping, white water rafting), Lac St Cassien (picnicking, swimming, canoeing, sail boarding) and a number of beautiful local villages. The Mas is stylishly finished and comprises a large living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). The Mas is surrounded by terraces, beautiful gardens, covered alfresco dining areas with amazing views to the countryside, BBQ, sumptuous exterior 'chill-out' area and a private swimming pool. There is a secure gate to the property and parking for up to 4 cars.

Changeover day
Saturday. Departures at 10am. Arrivals at 4pm.

Notes on accommodation
There is air-conditioning in two upstairs bedrooms. There is a fire in the lounge. Children welcome, kids books on-site.
Accessibility
The property has not been adapted for people with mobility problems. There are stone steps leading up to the house in certain areas although access at other parts are at ground level.
Outside
Sizeable mature gardens including covered terrace with BBQ, table and seating for 6, covered loggia with stone dining table, outdoor lighting, petanque area, private swimming pool (4.5m x 2.5m) (alarm fitted), sun loungers, pagoda, and stunning views of countryside.
Coast/Beach
There are several beaches within easy reach by car: Mandelieu-La Napoule-Cannes, Golfe de Frejus, La Croisettes, Cannes, St Raphael, Ste Maxime, and St Tropez. Iles de Cannes - there are some small islands off the beach at Cannes which can be reached by public ferry or sailing boat. The water around them is a stunningly clear turquoise and is perfect swimming territory. It is a great spot for days out.
Golf
Domaine de Terre Blanche (Four Seasons resort hotel) is a club of outstanding quality with two 18 hole golf courses plus a golf academy with a floodlit practice range and all weather covered positions. Golf de l'Esterel (Par 71, 5825 metres) is just over a mile away from the wonderful beaches of Saint-Raphael. This course actually runs into the Mediterranean Sea giving it magnificent views and making it wonderfully relaxing.
Golf de St-Enderol is a world class 18 hole course catering for both expert and amateur golfers and is set in the spectacular Enderol mountains.
Skiing
Isola 2000 is about 2 hours drive from Seillans and offers skiing at 2000 metres altitude from December to April. Geolieres Les Neiges is 1.5 hours drive and offers skiing at 1400-1700 metres altitude from Christmas to March. The resort, though relatively small, is good for learning and can be excellent after a big snowfall. The resort also has snow cannons.
Special interest holidays
Hiking, skiing, cycling and para-gliding (apparently the best in the country, if not Europe), are some of the many attractions of the region.
Travel
Nice airport is 45 mins away, Toulon 1h, Marseilles 1h30.
Distances
The centre of Seillans, lauded as a 'Village Fleurie' and voted one of 'the most beautiful villages in France' and is 35 minutes walk from the villa or 5 mins by car. Fayence, a pretty market town, Callian, built around a chateau on a hilltop, and Montaroux, built around a former fortress, are 10-15 mins drive from Seillans.
Further details
There are excellent restaurants in the locality (including one with a Michelin star) and many auberges. Seillans is self sufficient in terms of a supermarket, butcher, baker, cafe/bar, pharmacy, bank, post office, Tabac and boutique hotels, with some excellent restaurants. Ten minutes away by car, Fayence offers a more varied and wider choice of shops and restaurants. There is a local market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and sailing, kayaking and water sports/pedalos at Lac St Cassien just 10 minutes away but with the choice of sea water sports centres at St Raphael or Frejus.
Booking notes
Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental with the balance payable at least 8 weeks prior to arrival. In addition, in case of breakages/damage, a refundable security deposit of £500 is required, payable a week before departure.
