A recently refurbished two bedroom apartment superbly located in the village atmosphere of le Lavachet, Tignes. There are restaurants, bars and a supermarket all within a couple of minutes walk. The piste is less than a 200m walk, and the express chairlifts 'Chaudannes' and 'Paquis' allow great access to the rest of l'Espace Killy ski area. There are spectacular views from both the front and rear balconies of the apartment. Just a couple of minutes walk away you are able to take the free bus service, day and night, to anywhere in Tignes. During the summer months the free bus service can take you straight to the funicular for skiing on the glacier. The telecabine 'Aeroski' and chairlifts ' Palafour' and 'Tichot' are open for free mountain biking, and are just 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros. There is flexibility in prices for longer stays. Great deals are available for October and November dates for those wishing to profit from the Glacier skiing available before the full winter season starts.
Changeover day
Bookings are taken weekly Sunday to Sunday.

| Other: | The good sized hallway allows for all your wet ski jackets/hats/gloves/boots to be stored easily. There is a ski locker in the entrance hall to the building and plenty of space on the rear balcony for any extra skis and boards. |

Bedlinen is provided and included in the rental price, however guests will need to provide their own towels. Guests are required to leave the apartment spotless upon their departure. A 50€ cleaning charge is otherwise applicable. |

Accessibility
There are a few steps up to the entrance of the building. The apartment is on the entrance level and because the building is built on a slope, has first floor balconies.
Outside
The outside space of the apartment consists of a balcony shared by the two bedrooms to the rear, and a good sized balcony to the front accessed from the living area.
Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course around the lake during the summer months.
Skiing
Tignes is in one of the largest ski areas in Europe, L' Espace Killy, and is linked to Val d'Isere. There are over 300km of pistes to suit all abilities, great off piste opportunities and good snow parks for those of you wanting to improve your freestyle! There are many ski schools to choose from, all have English speaking instructors and/or female instructors, and most also have specialist snowboard instructors There are a variety of other sports and activities available in Tignes, including ice diving, paragliding, husky sledge rides, horse riding, snow mobiling, and ice climbing to list a few. A new sports centre boasts a gym, swimming pool, steam room, saunas and jaccuzzis for some well deserved relaxation at the end of a hard day on the slopes!
Travel
The nearest airport to Tignes is Chambery which is approximately a 2 hour transfer time by car. Lyon, Geneva and Grenoble offer a wider selection of flight availability but are slightly further away (usually 3 - 4 hours transfer time). Car hire is recommended, but please be aware that there is no free parking in the main village of Tignes, only Les Boisses.
Trains (including the snow train) will get you as far as Bourg St Maurice, buses run frequently up to resort.

Further details
The piste is appoximately 100 metres from the apartment. Guests are able to take either 'Paquis' or 'Chaudannes' express chairlifts for direct access to the whole of l'Espace Killy ski area. It is possible to ski back to le Lavachet at the end of the day, arriving just around the corner, a couple of minutes walk from the apartment.
Tignes runs a free bus service around resort. So that wherever you end up at the end of the day, either after skiing or some aprés ski!, you will always be able to make it back to the apartment easily.
Le Lavachet has a supermarket for all groceries, meat, wine etc. There are also a number of bars and restaurants for those wishing to get out and about in the evenings.
The free bus service also runs at night so you are within easy access of the rest of the resort. Tignes has a great many restaurants to offer, there is also a wide variety of bars, and activities such as bowling and ice skating.
Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the balance payable by transfer no later than one week before your arrival in resort, or by cash upon arrival.

I have lived and worked in France since 1997, and in Tignes since 1999. Because I am based in the resort, I am on hand for any questions, queries or problems you may have during your stay. I have a very good knowledge of the resort and am happy to advise on anything from parking and supermarkets to restaurants and nights out. I want to help make your stay in my apartment as pleasant as possible and to help you make the most of your holiday in this fantastic ski resort.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I bought this property primarily for its location. Tignes is an excellent resort with a wide range of pistes for all abilities, and fantastic off piste!
There are also many other activities to experience, including ice diving, husky rides, paraponting and bowling. Why not also consider pampering yourself at the new leisure centre with swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis and gym.
Tignes has a growing reputation as a summer destination aswell as winter. The glacier provides year round skiing, there are some beautiful walks, lots of climbing and mountain biking also on offer.

2100A is situated just a short walk from car parking, a supermarket, restaurants, bars and, most importantly, the piste!
Approximately 100 metres from access to the express chairlifts 'Chaudannes' and 'Paquis', guests benefit from fantastic links to both sides of the Tignes valley, and the whole of the Espace Killy ski area.
