Changeover day
Saturday is changeover day and departure time is 10.00 a.m. Arrival time is 3.00 p.m. This allows for the property to be checked and for linen changes etc. This may be negotiated for shorter or longer stays.

Notes on accommodation
The house has been refurbished to a good standard and every attempt made to retain a sense of French style and tradition, with a view to providing memorable family holidays for the current owner and all visitors. The property is set well back from the adjoining country lane and offers a real sense of openness, space and tranquility. There is much to explore in the surrounding areas, alternatively enjoy all that the house has to offer.
Outside
There is an enclosed 10 x 5 metre pool with views to the open countryside. The sun deck extends to approximately 15 x 10 metres with external lighting and a natural-roofed shaded area. There are sun loungers, outside dining table and chairs to the pool area. Barbecue area. The large well fenced garden includes an enclosed courtyard, partly laid to lawns around a circular driveway and provides further seating and table areas.
Coast/Beach
The Gulf of Morbihan, Carnac, Vannes, Trinite-sur-Mer, Quimper, Hennebont and other coastal areas range from 30 minutes to an hour's drive away.
Golf
There are several fine golf courses in the Morbihan region.
Travel
Use of car is essential and the property is approximately 1 3/4 hours from St Malo (our favourite route), 3 to 3 1/2 hours from Caen, Cherbourg and Roscoff.
Distances
Our local villages are within 5 minutes drive. The larger historic towns of Pontivy and Josselin are within 20 minutes drive.
Further details
There are a number of fine restaurants including Breton specialities such as seafood and crepes to try in the area and regular markets in the local towns. There are numerous activities including swimming, either at home or at one of Brittany's fine beaches. Riding can be arranged at local stables. The terrain is well-suited for cycling and there are beautiful walks locally by the canal. Freshwater fishing is reputed to be some of the best in France. Leaflets and brochures for places of interest and activities are provided at the house (too many to mention).
Booking notes
A booking will be reserved and is confirmed when a 25% deposit plus a £200 refundable deposit for breakages is received. The full balance is then due 8 weeks before the holiday, unless there is availibility for a late booking in which case the full balance is required at the time of booking. At that time further details of the property and directions etc. will be provided.
