The house and location are beautiful, and very accurately described on your website. There is ample space both inside and out for a large family to relax. From our initial enquiry right through to the end of our stay was completely stress free. Andy & Sharon
You have picked a lovely spot for a holiday home, I enjoyed sitting in the garden with an uninterrupted view of some amazing sunsets! The kids loved the pool and all that space to play. Judith & Antony
Your house in France is beautiful. The photos on your web page really don’t do it justice - it is much much bigger than we had expected and extremely well furnished and comfortable. We were all so sad to leave that we nearly locked ourselves in so the next family couldn't get in! Ali, Glenn & family
Thank you for lettings us rent your beautiful holiday home, It was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. the kids were kept entertained easily in the garden, we will be looking to go again next year. Karen & Family

About the owner
I live in Northampton with my husband Andy and 2 Girls Ella and Freya. My Husband and I both work but love to escape to France as often as we can to stay at the house. We fell in love with the Charente region when on holiday in 2005, the laid back pace of life is in total contrast to how we live in the UK. We hope that anyone who stays will feel the same as us.
Year purchased: 2007
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the house in France because the area is so beautiful, very French. It is in the country which of course gives you the views and tranquillity, but it is not far from the hustle and bustle of market towns, and the city of Bordeaux.
Unique benefits of the property
We enjoy our time at the house as it gives us plenty of space, even when extended family come and stay there is still plenty of room. The garden is very large, the girls have lots of fun riding their bikes etc. around the garden, great for letting of steam! In fact the garden is so big we were able to let our niece (who was old enough) to drive the car around it! During the winter its lovely to have the log fire going.
