Rose is a welcoming 3 bed roomed gite, which comprises of a double room and a twin room upstairs, and a single room downstairs. There is a main bathroom downstairs and a second toilet upstairs. The downstairs consists of a lounge area, with original stone walls exposed and a separate kitchen/diner. The gite is fully equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster. You will also have a CD player and a TV with a DVD player. Rose gite has a private garden for your use, or you can sit out in the open courtyard. We have a range of DVDs for our guests to use free of charge (conditions apply). We offer a laundry service, baby equipment, or sleeping for additional people if required. Wi-fi access available (conditions apply). For further details, please contact the management. |

Orchid (2 Bedroom, Sleeps 3)

Orchid is a comfortable 2 bed roomed gite with one double room and a second bedroom with a single bed and a double daybed, offering a relaxed environment. There is a main bathroom downstairs. The living area consists of a lounge, with CD player, TV and DVD player and a separate kitchen/dining area, which is fully equipped with a gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster. Table and chairs are provided in our open courtyard for you sit out and enjoy the fresh air. We have a range of DVDs for our guests to use free of charge (conditions apply). We offer a laundry service, baby equipment, or sleeping for additional people if required. Wi-fi access available (conditions apply). For further details, please contact the management. The second bedroom has no window so may be suitable for children who sleep better in a blacked out room. |

Notes on accommodation
Lavender has a wood burner and all gites include electric radiators for your use and are fully equipped with everything you need to make yourselves at home. If you have any specific requirements, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.
Bed linen is included in the rental price of the gite, towels can also be provided at a nomiminal charge of £3 per towel.
The gites are suitable for children, although we do advise parents to keep an eye on their children. There is a fountain/pond in the courtyard, which is approximately 40cm deep. Some child safety equipment is available on request- please contact us for further information.
Accessibility
Lavender gite has ramp access into the main entrance, and has widened doorways into the downstairs double bedroom and bathroom. For further details or to assess suitability, please contact the management.
Outside
Rose and Lavender gites have a separate garden area, which is fenced off from the rest of the property and have seating areas for our guests to enjoy the peaceful outdoors.
We also have a large open courtyard, where guests can sit out and relax, enjoying the peaceful countryside.
Coast/Beach
If you are looking for a nice beach within easy reach, we recommend Saint Germain sur-Ay, where you will find miles of white sandy beaches backed by sand dunes. The beaches are easily accessible by car, and are approximately 10 miles away. The beaches are quiet and spacious, allowing you to relax in peace and quiet, take a walk along the beach, have a swim or a paddle, or play games and have fun with the family. The beach stretches for miles and Jersey can be seen in the distance.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses within a short driving distance.
The nearest course is approximately 10km away and provides a beautiful and challenging game of golf. The course has 9 holes and is great value for money because it can be played as many times as you like in a day at a cost of just €26.
Travel
The nearest airport is Rennes, and there are plenty of flights into Paris, which is two and a half hours on the train to the nearby town of Carentan.
Cherbourg ferry port is only a 50 minute drive away, and Caen takes just over an hour.
Distances
The village shop and bar are just 1 mile away, or for supermarkets, restaurants or a wider choice of shops you can visit Periers (6 miles) La-Haye-du-Puits (7 miles) or Carentan (11 miles).
Booking notes
A 30% deposit is payable at time of booking in order to secure your booking. The full amount is due 30 days before your arrival date.
A £100 (fully refundable) security deposit is also taken, and will be refunded at the end of your holiday provided that there are no breakages or missing equipment (see terms and conditions for more information).

Ferme de la Fleur is a family run concern. The current owners, Paul, Sara, Louise, Matt and baby Indigo, moved out to the region in 2009 in order to enjoy a more peaceful way of life in the beautiful countryside of La manche.
