Superb location opposite Lake Vonnes and only a 7 minutes walk from the center of Chatel village, Chalet Lac de Vonnes is a traditional alpine chalet boasting charm and character features. The bedrooms have beautiful decor, comfotable bed linen and supplied with dressing gowns and fluffly towels. The living area is spacious with a stunning vaulted ceiling and grand open log fire to relax in front of. The gourmet meal each evening is served in a relaxed and warm atmosphere with plenty of quality wine included. We have a large seperate mezzanine area with Sky TV etc or seperate Games room with Table tennis/Darts and Games console. The friendly and high level of service we provide as owners and operators of the business is second to none and hence the reason we have over 50% repeat custom each year. Other luxuries include the fantastic Hot Tub overlooking the mountains, ski orientation and even Torch light descents arranged. A relaxing holiday with little stress and worries!

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Discounts: Groups of 10 or more: 5% Discount of total cost of accommodation. Free ski pass for the organiser of groups of 8 or more. 5% Discount for repeat booking.

1250 euros per week for whole chalet, self catering in summer. Self catering prices during winter available on request. B&B and fully catered options available.
Changeover day
Changeover day is a Sunday except for the Christmas and New Year weeks which is Wednesday. Self catering and B&B options changeover day is flexible.

Accessibility
There is no facility for wheelchairs at the chalet.
Outside
The large tiled balcony leading from the Chalet lounge has great wooden garden furniture and a superb gas BBQ overlooing the panoramic mountain views. The outdoor hot tub also boasts the same views in the garden accessed via the games room with table tennis table.
Coast/Beach
The beaches are about 5 hours away !
Golf
We specialise in Golf 'packages' tailored to suit your requirments. Play some of the championship golf courses surrounded by magnificent scenery. Skiing
Chatel is in the heart of the massive 650kms Portes du Soleil ski area (biggest in Europe!) offering a huge range of skiing and boarding for beginners, intermediates, advanced and the expert skier. Snow trails for walking and cross country skiing is very popular here. One pass covers 2 countries, 14 resorts and 8 snow parks.

Travel
Many airlines operate from the UK to Geneva Airport two of the cheapest are Easyjet and Flyglobespan. Flying time is approximately 1.5 hrs and a short transfer to Chatel of only 1.5 hrs also. Transfers to and from Geneva Airport are included in our prices during the ski season, however should you wish to drive or hire a car there is parking outside our chalet.
Distances
Chatel is on the French / Swiss border and Chalet Lac de Vonnes is located only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the town centre. Directly accross from the Chalet is the pretty Vonnes Lake offering walking trails, fishing and boating. Chatel itself has many bars, restaurants, shops and creperies all situated around the local church.
Further details
Banks, tourist information, cinema showing English speaking films, ten pin bowling and venues with live music are all sitated in Chatel. A local market selling fresh produce is held in the town centre every Wednesday morning. There are local supermakets and grocery stores in the town.
Booking notes
£100 or 140 euros deposit per person is required at time of booking. Full payment is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
