Cottage style gite next door to owners home. Quiet rural setting amongst vineyards and olive groves. 1km from the pretty and tranquil village of Bize-Minervois. Close to the Canal du Midi. 20 mins from the vibrant towns of Narbonne and Beziers, and only 30 mins to blue flag Mediterranean beaches. Carcassonne and its medieval city are also only a short drive.

All arrivals and departures are for Saturday unless prior arrangement has been made with the proprietors. However, we do recognise the need to be flexible and, if at all possible, arrangements could be made for other arrival and departure days.

Single storey gite. 1 Step down into the gite. 1 step up into the bedroom. Door clearances approximately 18 inches.

Private garden. Covered terrace. Garden table, chairs, sun parasol and deck chairs provided. Parking space.
Coast/Beach
Safe river swimming in Bize-Minervois in July and August. Approximately 30 minutes by car to the blue flag Mediterranean beaches of Narbonne Plage, Gruissan-chalets plage and St. Pierre de Mer. Excellent, clean sandy beaches, bags of room even in July and August!

Carcassonne airport 40 minutes driving. Toulouse airport 1.5 hours driving. Perpignan airport 1 hour driving. Montpellier airport 1 hour driving. Beziers airport 30 minutes driving. Girona (Spain) 2 hours driving. Car hire is recommended, bus services are limited.

Bize-Minervois 1km. Narbonne 18km. Beziers 20km. Carcassonne 40km. Numerous chateaux in less than 1 hour driving. Canal du Midi 5 minutes. Endless pretty villages 5-10 minutes driving.

Bar with pizzeria/restaurant plus 2 good restaurants. Bank in Ginestas. Horse riding available locally. Wine tastings. Walking trails. Cycling - MTB trails and road riding.
