This beautiful detached villa with 4 large bedrooms is situated in the pretty village of Armissan, located between the Mediterranean beaches and Narbonne. The open-plan spacious villa comprises lounge-dining area, 3 shower/bathrooms, kitchen, conservatory, TV room which can be used as a further bedroom and study. It is fully equipped with English and French TVs, DVD and CD players, broadband internet access and telephone. The pretty gardens and terraces with BBQ's offer areas to relax, dine, play and chill-out. The private pool is fully enclosed with a retractable dome cover for safety and to maintain a constant high temperature in the Summer. The tranquil village nestles amongst the vineyards and boasts a boulangerie, artisan boucherie, local shop, wine cave and post office, all within 5 mins walk from the villa. You can walk/ mountain bike into the heart of the regional park where there are a myriad of paths and tracks through the pine forests and vineyards with spectacular views.

Changeover day
The prices are for 7 nights starting Saturday 4pm and finishing 10am the following Saturday and are inclusive of electricity, water, bed linen and bath towels. Different changeover days may be possible out of peak season.

Accessibility
Within the villa there are some steps which unfortunately would not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with extreme mobility problems.
Outside
A beautiful palm tree and pergola provide a shaded area to relax and read on the sunny south facing terrace. For chilled alfresco dining the terrace has a built-in BBQ and gas BBQ with a large teak dining table seating 8/10. This overlooks the 11 x 4 sq.m tiled pool and is perfect for those long leisurely lunchtimes and suppers. The pool is surrounded by flower and lavender beds and has a retractable, lockable dome perspex cover. This is to ensure safety and keeps the pool at a constant high temperature throughout the season. Pine and olive trees shade the sun loungers situated by the pool. A shaded pebbled area is perfect for playing boules or for children to play. The front courtyard is surrounded by flower beds, bay, mandarin and lemon trees and provides an additional area to dine with table and chairs. A love bench under the honeysuckle is a perfect spot for your aperitif. There is subtle lighting and music outside to maximise the use in the sultry evenings.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful child friendly sandy beaches of Narbonne plage are a 10 mins drive across the regional park with stunning vistas of sea and mountains as you drop down to the coast. The sandy coastline has beaches close to the restaurants, shops and play facilities or the natural beaches are surrounded by the Garrigue and views of the mountains. The beaches are cleaned daily in the Summer months. Free parking is right by the beach. Guissan port/marina and beach are 15 mins by car.
Golf
Golf de Beziers Saint-Thomas - 18 hole - 30 mins drive. Golf de Cap d'Agde - 18 / 9 hole - 47 mins drive. Golf club de Carcassone - 18-hole 46 mins drive.
Skiing
The Pryenees with their vast array of ski resorts and ski- runs are accessible within a 2 hour drive

We recommend that you have use of a car whilst on holiday at our villa to fully enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Further details
As well as the local shops the village has tennis courts, play grounds, football and rugby field. The Narbonne out of town shopping area with Carrefour hypermarket, numerous clothes and sport shops are 10 mins drive away. The villa is in a tranquil setting and is ideal if you want to chill and relax around the pool for the day under the deep blue sky. Being so close to the beach you can easily combine beach and pool days. Watersports - an English speaking watersports centre is located 15 minutes away offering courses in wind surfing, kite-surfing, dingy sailing, paddle boats. Horse-riding - tere are various pony trekking and stables in the area. Walking - the villa is located in the regional park of Massif La Clape and there are stunning walks and mountain biking rides through the vineyards, pine forests and garrigue. A waymarked walk (about 4 miles) takes in the different grape varieties used in the production of wine at the local cave so you can walk the vineyards then taste the wine! Mountain biking - there is some excellant riding directly from the villa for the more active cyclist with a myriad of paths and tracks. Wine - the area is famed for the quality of wine and there are numerous Domaines where you can visit and taste the wine. Cathar castles - in the midst of the Cather county you can explore the numerous castles of Carcassone, Peyreperteuse, Puivert, Queribus and Termes. Narbonne's famed La Halle market is great place to pick up fresh fruit and veg, fish, cheeses and local produce. In the Summer months there are plenty of music and cultural events in the region.
Booking notes
A non refundable deposit of 25% of the rental price is required to secure the booking along with a completed booking form. The balance is required 8 weeks prior to arrival along with a 500 euros refundable damage deposit.

A wonderful holiday and a very comfortable house with very welcoming hosts. We loved walking on the beach at Narbonne and the Jazz evening. So much to do and too little time to fit it all in.
Lovely villa which suited all of us. Our oldest grandchild 4 years learnt to swim in the pool which was kept at a lovely warm temperature. We enjoyed the location, being in a traditional french village but within easy reach of beach and places of interest. Thank you so much.
