Outside
Outside on the terrace you can relax on the sunloungers , barbecue to your hearts delight or cool down in the plunge pool. There is ample shading under the walnut tree to dine on the outdoor table.
The garden is shared with just the family but feel free to wander and enjoy the stunning views of the limestone cliffs, use some of the many herbs for your meals or challenge each other to a game of table tennis on the all weather outdoor table.

Coast/Beach
Although a long way from the coast, there are plenty of river beaches to lounge about on. The nearest is 10 minutes walk, the largest is a 10 minute drive. Beaches are a mixture of sand and stones, the water is fresh and it's possible to float downstream gently on the river rapids. You may want to spend the day fishing, the river is teeming with a whole variety of fish - barbel, pike, chubb to name a few. Twice a year the local river is stocked with trout - sadly mine always gets away!

Golf
Montauban - Les Aiguillons 40km.

Owner profile

About the owner
I've lived here in France since 2006 with my husband, 2 children and the local wildlife! It takes a while to slow down and adjust to this pace of life, but I still marvel at the view, the clear skies and the milky way which can be seen clearly every cloudless night!

Year purchased: 2006

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
What more can you ask for than an amazing view, to be 5 minutes walk from a lively community set in a medieval village, to have space and fresh air and to have numerous châteaus, vineyards as well as plenty of outdoors activities such as hiking, biking and canoeing to do!

Unique benefits of the property
Peace - aside from the woodpeckers, owls, wild boars and red squirrels, hiking from you doorstep, cheap wine and very fresh vegetables from our local Sunday farmer's market, sunshine, the sound of the river and a plethora of castles and caves to explore.
