Recently renovated 'La Petite Maison' a delightful cosy cottage boasts true tranquillity where you can experience the sheer beauty of the Hautes-Pyrenees - an ideal spot for relaxing holidays. There is a kitchen/dining area, bedroom and shower room on the ground floor, on the first floor there is a light and airy sitting room with exposed beams and stone walls, from here there is a door leading to a balcony that overlooks one of the village streams. Outside there is a patio for alfresco dining.

Notes on accommodation
Sorry but due to the open stairs and balcony the cottage is not suitable for young children. No smoking inside the property.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful sandy beaches of the delightful towns of Biarritz (famous for its surfing) and St-Jean-de-Luz on the Atlantic coast under 2 hours away.
Golf
Bagneres de Bigorre 18 hole course 10 minutes away, Tarbes 9 hole course also 10 mintues away and Lourdes 18 hole course 20 minutes away. The first golf course in continental europe at Pau (1856) is just 45 minutes, with 18 holes.
Skiing
The closest skiing resort is 45 minutes away at La Mongie. Several other ski resorts are in easy reach, eg Cauterets and St Lary. All offer great skiing and very reasonable prices.
Special interest holidays
Great roads for motorcycling holidays, advice available for the best routes. Secure parking, washing facilities and workshop available.
Good location for cycling holidays. Airport collection for cycles and riders can be arranged from Pau at an extra cost.
Travel
Nearest airports: Pau 45 minutes. Toulouse 1 1/2 hours. Tarbes/Lourdes 15 minutes. Own transport essential.

Further details
The Tour de France passes close to the village each year, with Col du Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin and Col d'Abisque all within easy reach. There are many steams and rivers running though the area, so fishing is a very popular local sport. Horse riding, white water rafting, canoeing, canyoning, paragliding and many more activities available locally. Bagneres de Bigorre hosts a traditional market every Saturday, also there is the lovely Aquensis Spa in the town. Full range of supermarkets 10 minute drive. Shopping, banking, restaurants 15 minute drive.
Booking notes
A deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking, either by cheque or electronic bank transfer. The balance being due 4 weeks prior to arrival. (Any breakages to be paid for at the time.)
