A perfect location to both relax in our park like grounds and explore the area by foot, cycle, horse or car. The fully restored studio is an annexe attached to a stunning 17th Century Maision Maitre. Relax by the pool, use the poolside kitchen and BBQ. Our land extends to 2.5 hectares, with 3 horses. With many vineyards, restaurants, Auberges' and places of interest, why not let us help you plan a trip over? The studio is ideal for short breaks or an over night stop. Bergerac Airport and a choice of train stations are within easy reach. The studio is perfect for bed and breakfast- but with the added benefit of space and independence to come and go as you need.

Large patio and covered terrace with outdoor kitchen (oven, hob, fridge, BBQ) and TV. Outdoor sunbeds, wooden dining table and chairs, outdoor floodlights. Park gardens- mature trees and plants, hedging for privacy. Fields and orchard circle property.
Coast/Beach
The stunning Dune de Pyla, Arcachon and Biscarrosse are from 2.5 hours drive away.
Golf
Chateau Les Merles 9 hole and driving range- 10 minutes drive. Restaurant.
Special interest holidays
We can discuss unique horse riding breaks, with fully catered home cooked French and British food, with options such as accompanied shopping trips, Chateau tours and historic sites.
Travel
Bergerac Airport is 20 minutes drive away. We can pick up but really a car hire is the best way to get about. TGV from Paris to Bordeaux, local line stops at Bergerac or Lalinde. Bordeaux Airport 2 hours drive.

Bastide town of Lalinde- 10 minutes drive. Bergerac 15 minutes, Monbazillac 25 minutes, St Emilion 1.5 hours, Perigueux 1.5 hours, Lascaux 1 hour, Limeuil 20 minutes, Tremolat 20 minutes, Sarlat 1.5 hours.

Lalinde for supermarket, fuel station, banks, pharmacies, market on a Saturday, butchers, shops and restaurants.
Closer- Sauveboeuf mini supermarket, bar, tabac and pizza restaurant. Famous Lou Peyrol restaurant is 2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk from our house!

About the owner
A Family of four - 2 adults and 2 children with our horses and chickens emigrated to France to enjoy lovely weather and the beautiful countryside, which reminds us of our childhood in Sussex and Gloucestershire. World travelled and having previously worked in the UK in the consumer electronics industry and restaurant business we understand how important holidays are, and getting it 'right' for our guests - the balance between relaxation-enjoyment - value and quality.
