In the spacious grounds of Kergario there are lawned areas for relaxing and playing games. There is a trampoline, swings, slide, table tennis, badminton/volley ball and swing ball, For the guests convenience in the gites there is free wifi, and satellite TV. Outside each gites is a table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue. Of course guests have full access to the acres of lawns, There is a swimming pool which is in an enclosed area and is heated from renewable resources whatever the weather. May - September. Also on the complex is a spacious 9 hole pitch and putt golf course. New for 2012 is an indoor games room.

In high season changeover day is on a Saturday, at other times we try and be flexible. Arrivals not before 4pm. Checkout not after 10am.

Bedroom 1: Upstairs has a 4 poster bed with en-suite toilet and washbasin. Bedroom 2: This is next to the main bedroom and has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3: This is on the ground floor, has 2 single beds with en-suite with shower, toilet, and washbasin. Open plan living area and kitchen, comfy seating, and a log burner for the Winter, it also has electric radiators if needed. Facilities in the kitchen include, gas cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dining table with 4\6 chairs. |

We are child friendly, in the hot weather there are cooling fans in each room.

These properties are not suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
Within an old walled garden there is a beautiful above ground heated swimming pool surrounded by lawn, flower beds, sun loungers. There is a covered area allowing shade in the hot weather.
Coast/Beach
The nearest coast is approximately 40 minutes away with it's lovely sandy beaches. Larmor Plage is one of our favourites with Restaurants on the sea front and a children's play area. For the energetic there is Guidel Plage with it's water sports and it is very popular for surfing. There are coastal paths with stunning views particularly good for the keen photographer. It is possible to take boat trips from several ports to the many islands, especially popular is the Golfe de Morbihan.

We have a spacious 9 hole pitch and putt course which is included in the price. All equipment you need is provided.
Travel
St. Malo Port is 2 hours.
Roscoff is 1.5 hours.
Caen is 4 hours.
Cherbourg is 4.5 hours.
Brest airport 1.40 hours (Ryanair and Flybe).
Dinard airport 1.50 hours (Ryanair).
Rennes airport 1.50 hours (Ryanair and flybe).
Distances
Pontivy is 20 minutes.
Lorient is 30 minutes.
Vannes is about 1.5 hours.
Lignol is a 10 minute walk away.
Guemene-sur-Scorff is 5 minutes by car.
We are idealy situated between the North and South coasts.
Further details
The village of Lignol has a lovely Creperie and a new Bistro Restaurant also a Boulangerie. Nearby is Guemene which has a wider choice of shops and restaurants. 2 banks, large supermarket, and other shops, also there is the doctors and dentists if needed. There are beautiful lakes nearby for leisure activities.

Deposits are required of 25% in the form of an English cheque or bank transfer. The balance is due 6 weeks before your arrival.

About the owner
John & Jane are in their early 60s with 2 grown up children and grandchildren who live in England.
They love sharing Kergario with their guests, children are made more than welcome as John and Jane have such a friendly and informal attitude. Families return to Kergario year after year as guests always have such a good time (see guests comments). They live on site with their dog called Lady, Cat Thomas and 2 kittens, Tom & Jerry.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We came on holiday and just fell in love with Brittany, the scenery, the climate, and everything about it made us want to be here.
We wanted a property with big open spaces, and which was suitable for children which this property is.
We also wanted somewhere that was very peaceful & tranquil and only a short walking distance to the local village.
Unique benefits of the property
We opened a spacious 9 hole Pitch & Putt Course in 2008. There is a swimming pool (Heated from renewable resources whatever the weather May - September) in a safe environment for children. There is a safe children's play area with swings, slide, badminton, table tennis and trampoline. Bikes are available and included in the price. There is also free wifi access. New for 2012. Inside games room including wii.
