The 700 sq ft apartment will sleep 2 people only. There is a shared 7.3 x 3.7 metre swimming pool and a private 600 sq ft terrace with a private heated jacuzzi. We live on the premises and will be only too happy to help you make the most of your stay with us. If you want to get away from the stress of everyday life, this could be the place for you. There is virtually no traffic in the village, save the odd tractor, so sit in the garden overlooking the valley in peace and quiet. We are sorry, but the apartment is not suitable for children. The tower apartment is to the East of the Chateau and was added to the original building in the 16th century. The large bedroom is situated in the tower and has an exposed stone wall with a meutrier window (arrow slit), this would have been the exterior of the 12th century building. The château stands above the village of Boussagues and the view down the valley over the rooftops and across the surrounding countryside and is quite breathtaking.

Notes on prices
Includes electricity, linen, towels. A welcome pack of wine, bread, butter, cheese, milk and orange juice are included in the price. Central heating is inclusive between first week of October and last week of May, if it is required outside these periods there is a £50 per week charge. A 30% deposit is required with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Please note: We only accept bookings from Saturday to Saturday during the high season - (1 April - 31 September).
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Check-in is between 4pm and 6pm and Checkout before 10am.

Notes on accommodation
During the winter months the apartment has central heating and a wood burning fire in the living room (wood supplied). Please be aware, as with all French villages we have a Church with bells that ring at 8am.

Outside
The terrace is 600 sq feet, there is a private heated hot tub with outside lighting, electricity points, barbeque, sun loungers, table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
The Mediterranean is about 40 minutes by car. Our nearst beaches are Valras Plage, Serignan, and Cap d'Agde.
Golf
We have 7 great courses within 1 hour. The local golf course at Lamalou is 15 minutes away, there are 9 holes but they are expanding it to 18. We have it on good authority from previous guests that the course, although only 9 holes, is better kept and more enjopyable to play than most UK courses.The other courses are at Juvingac Fontcaude, Cap d'Agde, Beziers, Montpellier Massane, Grande Motte and Coulondres.
Travel
We are in the middle of 5 airports. Montpelliers 1 hr 15 mins, Nimes 1hr 40 mins, Perpignan 1hr 35 mins, Carcassonne 1hr 25mins, Toulouse 2 hrs.
Distances
By car Bedarieux is 7km, Lodeve 20km, Beziers 45km. You can walk to La Tur sur Orb in 10 mins. La tour sur Orb has a Supermarket, Pizzaria and a Boulangerie. There are riding establishments within 10 mins drive, fishing within 15 mins, canoeing within 35 mins, windsurfing on Lac Salagou and Golf in lamalou, 15 minutes away. We are half an hour from the thermal spa town of Avenue.
Booking notes
There is a deposit of 30% and the balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. If you find that this apartment is booked we also have a 2 bedroomed apartment with owners direct Ref FR767.
Please note: We only accept bookings from Saturday to Saturday during the high season - (1 April - 31 September).
We accept bookings for long weekends and short breaks during the low season.
