The apartment is purpose built in Le Varet apartment block with skiing in mind. Refurbished in Summer 2009, with extensive improvements in 2010 & 2011, the apartment is south facing with balcony, has fantastic views over the pistes and resort, and is situated on the ski in (for the brave) /out floor. Facilities include a double sofa bed, bunk beds and a pull out bed. The kitchenette has fridge, dishwasher, mini cooker/grill, slow cooker, microwave and three ring hob. Bathroom has bath and shower with endless hot water. Blankets and pillows are provided, but you will need to take sheets (king size for the sofa bed), and pillow cases. Alternatively, bed linen and towels can be hired from the agent. The apartment also has a television with DVD player, games and a hair drier and please feel free to bring and swap books and DVDs.
Skis and boots can be stored in the apartment. We have racks for both and a drip tray.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Please vacate by 10am. Please clean the apartment ready for the next guests.

Notes on accommodation
Warm air heating and endless supply of hot water for baths or showers. Ski schools assemble next to the apartment block and the resort is very suitable for children and adults alike.
Accessibility
The apartment block is built into the side of the mountain, so at one end of our floor is the direct access to the slopes. The other end has access by lifts to the north entrance.

Skiing
The apartment is within 100m of the piste and a selection of cable cars, chair lifts and ski hire shops.
Travel
Train - Eurostar ski train direct from St. Pancras to Bourg St. Maurice. Fly - nearest airports: Chambery and Grenoble.
Car - free parking 2km from apartment at Pre St. Esprit with free shuttle buses, alternatively pay parking under cover or open outside apartment block.
Distances
Bourg St Maurice 27K by car, about 40 mins by funiculaire and free shuttle buses.

Arc 2000 is situated in the Aiguille Grive Mountain Range, above the town of Bourg St Maurice and looks north to Mont Blanc. Les Arcs offers fantastic skiing and boarding and a lively apres ski scene. The height of the resort guarantees good snow conditions throughout the season. The skiing in Les Arcs is varied, extensive and caters extremely well for beginners while challenging slopes are available for the more experienced. Les Arcs is now one of the world’s biggest ski regions due to being directly linked with La Plagne through the Vanoise Express cable car. With 420km of marked pistes the Paradiski area is bigger than the world famous 3 Valleys! Bars and restaurants are open all day. Arc 2000 is linked by free cable car to the newly built Arc 1950. Here you will find more restaurants and entertainment. In Arc2000 there is also a skating rink and ten pin bowling. All are within 100m of the apartment block. The apartment is let on trust and works very well. We have had many satisfied guests and no complaints. So, to ensure maximum enjoyment, the following terms apply: on confirmation of availability, £100 deposit is payable at the time of booking to confirm reservation. Payment in full is required three weeks prior to your arrival. If booking is made within four weeks of your arrival, payment in full is required. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or apartment block. When you arrive at the resort, you need to go to the agency called CIS Immobilier (see location map on our website). They will give you the keys and any further information you require. You may be required to leave a damage deposit of 300 Euros. This done by taking your card details and is subject to a final check. Tourist tax: at the agency you will be required to pay a levy of 80c per person per week for guests over the age of 13.
Booking notes
An email stating you would like to go ahead is required. We will reserve the apartment unconditionally for 7 days until we receive your deposit of £100. We will then update the websites as booked. The balance will be required 4 weeks before you travel. If the travel time is within 4 weeks before your trip, we will require payment in full.

About the owner
Hello, we are a middle aged couple who bought this apartment in 2007. Having been out in ski season and in summer, we realize we have something special. Being south facing with views over the piste and resort, one could sit and watch the goings on all day. We do not make huge profits, it is more of a hobby, but we make we make we have invested in improvements. We have taken on board all our guests comments about facilities in the apartment and we are sure that we have a very comfortable place to stay. The popularity has been exceptional this season even with awkward times with Christmas and Easter. Warm weather in April saw Arc 1600 & 1800 close, but Arc 2000 kept going, even though the easy runs to the lower resorts were shorter.
