The new gondola lift is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute on the ski bus that stops outside the apartment. The apartment also has a ski locker, a cave and underground parking.

Skiing
The lift to the Grand Massif is 500m. It is 5 minutes walk, 1 minute on the ski bus. The Grand Massif has 270 km of piste and 78 lifts. Portes du Soleil is 20 minutes drive and has over 600 km of piste. Chamonix and Megeve are 45 minutes. There are 2 very good ski schools and lots of ski hire shops.

In summer Samoens offers a vast amount of activities including: Walking, climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, horse riding, paragliding, golf, white water rafting, canoeing and fishing. The village also has a swimming pool, tennis courts and an adventure play ground.
Travel
Geneva airport is 1 hour. Easy Jet fly from a number of English airports. There are lots of hire car companies at the airport or transfers can be arranged. There is also a bus service from the airport to Samoens.
Distances
Samoens centre is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Geneva, Annecy and Chamonix are all about an hour.
Further details
Samoens has a number of very good bars, shops and restaurants. There are also hire shops (ski and bikes), banks and supermarkets. There is also a very good children's nursery.
