The first bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom has bunk beds and a chest of drawers. The bathroom has a bath, wash basin with cupboard under, a hair-dryer and there is an excellent shower over the bath. The kitchen includes hob, oven (with microwave and other capabilities), dishwasher, fridge and freezer. In the lounge there is a TV, a CD/DVD/PlayStation and a large wooden sideboard. Outside, through French doors, is a balcony with chairs and a fantastic view towards Mont Pourri and Les Arcs/Villaroger.

Changeover day
Normal changeover day is Saturday but this is much more flexible in the Summer months. The apartment will normally be ready for 5pm and we ask guests to depart by 10am.

Notes on accommodation
Easy access to local walking and mountain biking routes. Tourist information office is just 50 meters from the apartment where they have details of all activities, restaurants etc.

Accessibility
Accessibility is excellent with the apartment on the ground floor and parking available directly outside.

Outside
Fantastic views across the Isere valley towards Mont Pourri and Les Arcs. cycle hire available just 50 metres from the apartment.

Golf
Over at Les Arcs there is a most enjoyable David Leadbetter championship course which is open to all.

Skiing
Right in the centre of the Sainte Foy Station the best ski resort in the French Alps with fantastic facilities for children, a very friendly atmosphere and the ultimate in off-piste possibilities (this is where the guides from Val D'Isere come on their day off). Just 15 minutes away by car are the mega resorts of Tignes / Val D'Isere and Les Arcs. La Rosiere (and the link to the Italian resort of La Thuile) is just 25 minutes by car.

Special interest holidays
In the Summer, Sainte Foy has numerous marked mountain biking and walking trails. There is a transport arrangement that takes bikes and riders up the mountain. Nearby there is white water rafting, climbing, canyoning and a host of other outdoor activities.

Travel
Nearest airports are Grenoble, Lyon, Geneva and Chambery. Easiest (and quickest) is to hire a car - this then enables easy transport for a day out to one of the nearby resorts of Les Arcs, Tignes and La Rosiere (we always say that and then find, as we do, that there is so much to do in Sainte Foy that our guests stay in Sainte Foy).

Distances
Les Arcs (Villaroger) 15 minutes.
Tignes (and thus to Val D'Isere) 15 minutes.
La Rosiere (and thus to La Thuile) 25 minutes.
Bourg St Maurice (for large supermarkets and other shops) 15 minutes.

Further details
There is a cash machine in the resort (about 30 metres from the apartment). Sainte Foy has excellent restaurants (eg La Maison a Collonnes). For an even wider choice there are some additional excellent restaurants about 10 minutes drive from the resort. There is a supermarket in the resort (10 metres from the apartment).

About the owner
Helen runs the village Post Office together with her assistant, Joanne. She is a keen skier and loves to spend as much time as possible in the French Alps in the Winter months. Now she wants to spend more time than is possible in Turkey during the rest of the year. I just enjoy being with her!
