Guergilles is a traditional Breton farm set in tranquil countryside. Close to the picturesque Leguer valley and within easy reach of the beaches of the north Brittany coast. Can accommodate small groups of up to 4 in both of our 2 bedroom cottages, or larger groups of up to 8 in La Grange, our largest cottage. Ker Toud and La Grange can be rented as one, for groups of up to 12 people. Our cottages are well situated for visitors from the UK. We are 1 hour from the ferry port of Roscoff and 2 hours drive from St Malo. Low cost flights are also available to Brest airport which is only one hour away. Guergilles is the perfect place to enjoy walking, cycling, fishing or simply relaxing. Stroll around the many colourful local markets and soak up the atmosphere. In May, June and September you can take part in holiday art courses. Guergilles is ideal for short breaks or longer stays, winter or summer.

Changeover day
During the summer holidays the changeover day is Saturday. However during mid and low season periods, changeovers can be more flexible.

Ker Toud (Sleeps 4. 2 Bedrooms)

Ker Toud is a newly renovated 4 person cottage with two bedrooms a shower room and toilet on the first floor. One double bedroom and the other with twin beds, makes it ideal for families of 4 people. Ker Toud has a modern, well equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer. All of our cottages have washing machines. Ker Toud is adjacent to La Grange, and for larger groups the two cottages can be rented as one. |

Ker Louarn (Sleeps 4. 2 Bedrooms)

Ker Louarn is the smallest of our 3 cottages. It has double and twin bedrooms, and a shower room and toilet on the ground floor. There is an open plan lounge and kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Ker Toud has a sunny south facing terrace for sitting, eating and barbequeing in the open air. |

Notes on accommodation
For winter bookings all of our cottages are fully centrally heated and have wood burning stoves. For families with young children we can provide cots, highchairs, baby baths, toys and books. There are also childrens play areas in the garden with swings and slides. The British owners live in the adjacent farm house and are always on hand with information and advice for visitors.
Accessibility
La Grange is fully wheelchair accessible, and has been approved for wheelchair users by the APF, France's premiere association for those with spinal injuries or mobility impairments. With a large en-suite wheel in wet floor shower room, next to the ground floor double bedroom. There is a level access main entrance, with a hard standing parking area, allowing for easy transit from vehicles to the cottage.
Outside
All of our cottages have sun terraces to the front and gardens at the rear with views over the valley. Garden furniture is provided for sitting and eating out. Mobile barbeques are also provided.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are 12km and a 20 minute drive from Guergilles. To the north is the Cote de Granite Rose (Pink Granite coast) with many secluded coves and beaches, and extraordinary rock formations. To the west is the Baie de Lannion with beaches suitable for windsurfers and kite surfers, and perfect for coastal walks. With the varied coastline in this area, there are beaches to suit everyones taste.
Golf
18 hole golf course by the coast at Pleumer Bodou, situated 12km from Guergilles.
Special interest holidays
In May, June or September it is possible to take part in holiday painting and drawing courses.

Nearest ferry ports: Roscoff 70km. St Malo 158km. Nearest airport Brest 99km. Car hire available from Brest airport.

Nearest shops, Ploubezre 2km. Nearest market town, Lannion 6km. Nearest beaches, Cote de Granit Rose 12km. Places of interest: Chateau de Tonquedec 5km. Chateau de Roche Jagu 30km.
Further details
The local village of Ploubezre has 3 boulangeries, a pharmacy, tabac, 2 cafes, a medium sized supermarket which is open on Sunday mornings, and a very good creperie. Leisure activities such as kayaking, pony riding, windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing and fishing can be arranged on demand.
