Apartment Aster offers fantastic access to winter and summer sports. In winter you can ski in/ski out of the apartment to access all the lifts and ski schools. As Avoriaz is centrally located at 1800m in Portes du Soleil you will enjoy a massive variety of skiing each day. The view from the apartment is simply stunning and the sunsets are to be seen to be believed. The apartment is furnished to a high standard having been completely renovated in 2008. You can reach the car free resort via a short walk and lifts giving you easy access to bars/clubs/shops/restaurants. In summer Avoriaz turns into a summer sports mecca with golf, swimming, horse riding, spa, cycling, climbing, walking, parapenting and many other activities available in the resort. You can even walk and take a ski lift to the amazing Fantasticable. If you do want to get in the car Chamonix, Evian, Annecy, Lake Geneva and many other activities e.g. white water rafting and sailing make great days out.

Guest comments
I have skied in Avoriaz and the Portes du Soleil area for a number of years, both with my family and with a group of girlfriends. Whilst the skiing is extensive and the snow record excellent (even in 2007 when there was little snow elsewhere in the Alps), we have always struggled to find accommodation to match the quality of the resort. Until this year. We found the Aster apartment to be spacious (a rarity in Avoriaz), stylishly decorated, well equipped, conveniently located. The sunsets we enjoyed every evening were truly spectacular. Unlike any other apartment in which we have ever stayed (and there have been many), the Aster provided a kitchen in which you could actually cook, enough storage space for even the most extensive of wardrobes and sufficient bathroom, shower, loo and mirror facilities to accommodate the requirements of seven high maintenance women. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay upon our return immediately booked for next year.
