Even though you won't have to travel far to explore all the opportunities for sport and recreation that exist in the area, once you arrive at your holiday accommodation in Clara, you might just decide to leave all the energetic stuff to everyone else while you simply put your feet up by the pool, just outside your door and relax! Changeover day
Flexible changeover day for the pool house but only Saturday to Saturday in July and August. No preferred changeover day for B&B. Minimum 3 nights for the pool house and 2 nights for B&B.

As well as the pool house, Mas Noel offers bed and breakfast in the main house. The main house has three doubles and one single room available for bed and continental breakfast, all en-suite. All prices are shown in the enclosed price table. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Private garden, patio, barbecue, patio furtniture. The 12x5m pool is shared with the owner.

Coast/Beach
The closest main resort is Canet which again is about 45 minutes drive away. There are also many beautiful Mediterranean beaches either side of Canet.

Skiing
The ski resort of Font-Romeu is just 45 minutes drive away – or if you just like sightseeing, why not take 'The Little Yellow Train' and enjoy the fabulous scenery.

Special interest holidays
Ideal for hikers - beach 45 minutes away - skiing also 45 minutes away - tennis court available or come just for the relaxation.

Travel
The closest airport is Perpignan which is about 45 minutes drive away. However, you can also fly to Girona and Carcassone which are about 1.75 hours drive. Use of a car is essential.

Distances
There is a tourist office in Prades (6 km away), located at no. 4 Victor-Hugo. Prades is equal distance from the beach and from skiing. There are two supermarkets in Prades and a regular market on Tuesdays (many stalls selling a variety of products) and Saturdays (smaller local produce). There are also many restaurants overlooking the pretty town square. You can also get a train from here to visit Perpignan or many other locations.

Further details
Restaurant - there is a restaurant close by in the village. Tennis - there is a public tennis court in Clara just 2 minutes walk from Mas Noel, where you can also enjoy a game of Boules. Hiking – beautiful scenery surrounds you in all directions, perfect for great walks.

Owner profile


About the owner
Mas Noel is owned by Pat and Barry Christmas who are retired ex-restauranteurs from Devon. Their restaurant was in the Michelin Guide, Good Food Guide and had an AA Rosette. Although now out of the restaurant business, they are more than happy to bring their record of good service and hospitality to this spectacular part of the region.
