Notes on accommodation
Privately owned, with the owners living discreetly on site, this unique 17th century hamlet is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

The hamlet is self contained, so parents can relax knowing their children are safe to play unsupervised within the grounds.

We want you to get the best out of your holiday so we are on hand, if needed, to offer help and advice in any way we can; from recommending the best markets, restaurants, beaches and places to visit, to booking horse riding or golf tee times. Another popular service we offer is to deliver baguettes and croissants daily to your door.

Outside
Le Gohic lies down a long private drive in quiet and tranquil countryside, amongst green rolling hills and lush wooded valleys.

Each cottage has its own private garden with table, chairs, loungers, parasol and BBQ.

Elsewhere in the grounds, there are plenty of big, open, grassy areas where children can play freely without disturbing the other guests.

There are lots of activities available including a trampoline, outdoor table tennis, a football pitch, grass badminton and a boules pitch, as well as swings, a climbing net, and a sandpit for younger children.

In the games room, there is table football and snooker, lots of board games, and a 'den' with armchairs and CD player for older children.

For golfers, there is a practise net tucked away in a quiet corner of the grounds.

Bicycles are available (free of charge) for exploring the local country lanes.

There is a large, separate car parking area, keeping the hamlet car-free and unspoilt, and safe for children.

Your visit will not be complete without a trip to the stunning Golfe du Morbihan, with its hundreds of islands. Take a cruise around this vast inland sea, stopping off where and when you want.
You can also hire sail boats, motorcruisers or kayaks to explore the wonderful beaches, inlets and creeks.

Nearly every day of the week you will find a local market where you can sample the best local produce: seafood (especially oysters & crevettes), crepes, cheeses, honey, locally grown fruit & vegetables and wonderful patisserie.

Throughout the year, there are regular antique markets, flea markets and the French equivalent of car boot sales 'Vide Grenier' (attic clearout). These are great places to find some interesting collectibles or just something very different and very french.

There are plenty of restaurants in the area covering all tastes and price brackets, from pizzas cooked in wood-fired ovens to a Michelin two star restaurant. It goes without saying that the local food is excellent, especially the seafood!

We wanted to say again what a brilliant holiday we had and Le Gohic is truly a beautiful setting with fantastic accommodation. You can see all the thought, effort and time you have put into Le Gohic and it is a brilliant place to come on holiday. Everything you could think of has been catered for. - The Maxwells, Kettering

Just to say that we had absolutely wonderful time in 'Le Gohic'. The houses are absolutely lovely and the attention to the little details are so worthwhile and appreciated. The atmosphere of relaxation that you both have created in the hamlet is a credit to you. – Joan Douglas and the Keegan gang, Dublin.

You have created homes not holiday houses. The environment is safe for the children and just couldn’t be better. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. – The Hernandez Party, Maidstone.

We had a perfect Christmas and New Year here. Le Gohic is amazing – Robin and Sheila’s special touches made it perfect. We recommend it highly. – Gail & Rick, Ontario.
