Further details
The area- The Pays de Bergerac provides a wonderful combination of gentle countryside, picturesque towns and villages, fine wine and gourmet food. St Emilion and the many vineyards of the region are a must for those who wish to sample and perhaps take home some very fine wines. Lac Jemaye is one of several nearby lakes offering a beach, children’s play area, nature trail, restaurant and snacks, a good day out. Activities in Bergerac - horse riding, bike riding, kayaking, fishing and a restaurant. The climate - being right down in the South-West of France, the sun is much higher in the sky all year round. We get lots of sunshine throughout the year, and just enough rain to keep the garden lush and pleasant. Spring comes early and temperatures can be in the 20's from March onwards, peaking at 40 in August, when, thankfully, the pool will keep you cool. Autumn, which is beautiful, can stay warm in the day, but with cooler nights. We aim to provide a relaxing environment in which you can unwind and have a quality holiday.

Thank you both for your hospitality. The cottage is absolutely charming & perfect, cosy holiday home which was far beyond our expectations. Great location, great hosts, beautiful surroundings. Who could ask for more?
From Stephen & Louise - Scotland - Aug 2011
Many thanks for a lovely stay in the Dordogne. We have been impressed & very pleased with the location of the cottage & by the superb grounds. The excellent pool was a real treat, especially for those of us who don't live in a country where outdoor swimming is really an option! Thanks for making us very welcome and we wish you continued success
From Steve & Margaret - Norwich - Aug 2011
This must be the twelfth time we have journeyed to France and we have never ever felt so much at home or had such a wonderful hostess as Anne. This has been just like finding a hidden gem that you want to keep to yourself & not share with anyone else! Everything about our stay has been just perfect.
